►WE USE THIS CAMERA (B&H) - buff.ly/3rWqrra
►WE USE THIS SOUND RECORDER (AMAZON) - amzn.to/2tbFlM9
Stuff we use:
LENS - Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 - amzn.to/2tbtmOq
AUDIO
Rode VideoMic Pro - The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post amzn.to/425k5rG
Audio Recorder - If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought - amzn.to/3WEuz0k
LIGHTS - Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times - amzn.to/2u5UnHv

AW is thoughtful, in-touch with his process and with the experience of being a new and emerging writer, and breaking into entertainment industry. He is really dedicated and hard-working, evidently. His thoughts on rejection of pitches and queries, comparison to dating and meeting potential romantic partners, are sharp, spot-on, words to live by. Great interview as always. Thanks FilmCourage!

I'm starting to see a lot of hustlers, scammers and even editors trying to cash in on the indie market of first-time authors. Be careful of some of these services popping up. They smell blood in the water.

I write screenplays. But I know where you're coming from about lack of confidence. I quit writing for 5 years because of it.

If one doesn't have to hold down 1 or more jobs to make ends meet...2000 words by lunch can be had, I guess. Good on him, though. Nice to be able to have so much time to write at one stretch.
