Colin’s commitment to play Penguin was absolutely breathtaking. He wasn’t even recognizable as himself and literally was a whole different actor that actually played The Penguin very well. Props to him and to the makeup artists for transforming him into a comic book accurate Penguin, even when we had doubts about Colin’s portrayal of the Penguin in terms of getting the look right

His facial expressions,voice,laugh... everything...is just perfectly convincing.I'm just blown away!The words,"what a character" are actually a compliment!
Easily should've been nominated for this role, it's absolutely insane watching him become an entirely different person.
Colin Farrell did not get the recognition he deserves for this role. Everyone's been talking about Pattinson and Kravitz and Dano, but Farrell was the best out of all of them. This isn't just a physical transformation; he transformed his entire personality here and perfectly captured the kind of lowlife scumbag mobster The Penguin should be.

Colin’s commitment to play Penguin was absolutely breathtaking. He wasn’t even recognizable as himself and literally was a whole different actor that actually played The Penguin very well. Props to him and to the makeup artists for transforming him into a comic book accurate Penguin, even when we had doubts about Colin’s portrayal of the Penguin in terms of getting the look right
Nothing short of an Oscar-worthy performance. Absolutely brilliant!

Definitely one of the best aspects of the Batman. He was so unrecognizable and believable!
Colin’s one of my fav actors and this role is now my most favorite of his! He NAILED it as Penguin! Can’t wait to see the show!! 😊
