@@rg950 I lost so much money doing that in the past. Sometimes the stock has completely reversed from a downtrend to an uptrend and I'll still be forcing it back to the price it left which it will never get back to. So, adding to a losing trade means you definitely have to know that the stock MUST get back to that price. otherwise, just cut your losses. Assuming I shorted NVDIA when it crashed down to $600. Some were saying it was going to crash further ot $400. Then NVDA reversed and headed back to $1,300 which is where we are now. Assuming I kept adding to that short, I would be wrecked by now.

Saw your last vid about trading overextended markets and started using it as my basis. I use a RSI scanner for oversold or overbought market conditions and look for good setups. Easy wins.

Curious how you do it? Here's my hypothesis on how, though. 1. Check for OS/OB pairs. 2. Check if price is at support(oversold), or at resistance(overbought). 3. Check for entry setup(HNS, FVG/OB, wagyu beef, etc) 4. Pick a profit target, pick a stoploss. Enter trade. Can you send me the link to his video regarding this though? It gave me an idea. Thanks

In that 1st GBPCAD trade you showed. It seems like you would be liquidated way before price hits that stop.

Nick you are literally my therapy, my trading style is very similar to yours, and we're sometimes on the same trades. Had a rough patch with GBP/CHF because I hedged a long like a dumbass and now I'm stuck managing a really poor risk to reward trade that I didn't even plan. Oh well, it is what it is. It's the worst thing you can do, which would imply that this guy is a fraud. You can model this strategy in excel with a random number and normdist function and you'll see it will always bankrupt you.

if you trade more pairs you are more likely to have more opportunities for setups like these... what i mostly trade is the same overextended markets but also just breaks and retests in a clear trend if the risk structure looks solid

I'm simultaneously thinking "yeah no shit Sherlock! Duh!" And "got damn why haven't i ever tried it that way!?!" Until now I've always only thought about "can we hit the target??" Bro speaking like someone who isn't promoting anything just a 4 years experience trader. Never adapt the mindset of i will not let my stop loss hit. You're stop loss must get hit as well as youre take profit must get hit. The difference and the profitability will come out as sum of 2 things: 1- Your win rate, 2- Your risk to reward. Don't listen to the bald guy who keeps on yapping here he makes millions off people who subscribe to his shit, he doesn't even have to trade he can place 2 trades a month and he is chilling. If you trade in any way shape or form like the bald guy im sorry for you and anyone else on this comment section. You will be liquidity for those who actually know how to trade so you choose.

Hypothetically, if I do the same exact trades, with the same exact TP and SL but with 0.01 lot size, I'd get around 20-30 USD per trade (?) Which is insignificant considering the amount of days it takes to close a position but it makes sense if you can't afford a 50k account to begin with.. I'd like to give it a try with 5-6 1k accounts and see how it goes
