I am a resident of Crestline and you guys set up so right around the corner from me.I wanted to thank you and beyond anything you did physically you solidified the idea of community that I saw throughout that time. Everyone coming together for neighbors was very heartening for me and when you came out showed us the community of care beyond us. The biscuit lady lives 2 houses away from me and you may have heard my family cheering you on as you drive away late into the night. Usually a neighbor and her older daughters help her clear the driveway whenever it snows but with this amount of snow it was an impossibility so thank you for that.

I have so much respect for Dave and his crew,, they see a human need and they respond in a big way bigger way then most governments even in heart soul and concern for their fellows. They are truly american hero's and what all people of this country should aspire to be. !!!! what they did for Cerro Gordo was epic but this is on another level of warrior spirit for all the right reasons of helping people in need... we are blessed to have a guy Like him around...
The people here were beyond desperate and in need of help. To see some of their streets not plowed even this week was disheartening. Forever grateful for the opportunity to work with the entire crew to help dig people out.

I've been stranded here for almost 2 weeks. have steep Rd to my driveway. no one kud get up or down it. plus 4-5 ft snow all over. ya I was ok til power went out. . got rescued by family.( my bad only been here shirt time, didn't get wood stove in) I moved from higher up. had a wood stove. I kud survivew that. .. no one was ready for this. it dumped 3 ft. here. stopped. Then Bam!! we had snow storm w 5 ft. so, irritating.... . What the World actually needs is more good stewards who realize that their well being and safety is their own responsibility, not someone else's. Hopefully these people will learn this from this experience and suffering, and bare minimum have provisions for the future so this never happens to them agin. Sadly, its not likely, and people usually just go back to their old habits after getting a bailout, handout, or free rescue and continue to live unprepared in dangerous places of disaster like California. We see it over and over with the Hurricanes in Florida. By the way, most of the people in this video vote politically for policies that create the situation they're in, regarding govt. response and supposed welfare. They vote and delegate their personal responsibilitys to a liberal govt and then expect someone else to come in and rescue them.

Government spending & taxes could be cut by 99% but if it was run by good folks like Heavy D & crew then we would be living in a paradise. The nation would enter a golden age of biblical proportions. A tear comes to my eye and it makes me sad when I think about what our potential is, compared to what we have today... It is getting worse quickly too. The "left" is like a heavy steel anvil tied to our country's waist pulling us down to depths we will never get out of. All on purpose, all to accomplish a sinister agenda, democrats are evil on a scale this planet as never witnessed and this is the end for us if we don't permanently separate and form a completely separate economy and government unaffected by the destructive and dystopian nightmare the left is creating. Getting away from them restoring our freedom & liberty is they only way we maintain any sense of community moving forward because you can't have neighbors who will cheer on genocide against you without a second of hesitation, that just doesn't work in the long run.

And then the second step is asking yourself what is really needed here, and how can I help get that set up.... And what are the gifts and skills I have in myself that can contribute in this situation... And.... What skills do I want to LEARN .. To be able to use to contribute.... You have the heart.. Now put adults to shame, and show us all what action looks like... You got this... Your future looks bright.. But it doesn't have to wait until you grow up.. It can start right now... You can also look up Ryan's well, and charity water... You can start, or create and contribute to ANYTHING you want to... You are untapped potential... Go go go...

I watched this with my wife. Once again you all make me proud to be an American. As I told my wife, we would move if you offered me a position with your company. Stay safe and may God bless you all.

What makes me want to say some heavy duty peace to those in charge of San Bernadino County is that when they were plowing the roads, they plowed the snow into the driveways, blocking them. (This is the nature of snowplows). Then it became the homeowners responsibility to dig it out. Many people over the age of 40 die every year (heart attacks) digging their driveways out in California, because the snow is very wet and heavy. It's definitely not like mid west snow. Those counties in California should purchase some snow cats to clear the driveways after the plows have pushed all that snow into them. How many people died just in the San Bernidino mountains because of this very Situation? San Bernidino County, those deaths are on you! The rest of the high mountain counties? Take the lesson, not the chance. Otherwise, folks in your counties will be getting some really good attorneys.
You guys are awesome..brought a tear when you showed up..I live on the east side of the country..we haven't had but just a flurry..feel so bad for those people..thank you for what you do..this country needs more like you all❤️
What you guys have done is a true inspiration!!! I can't express how emotional this video made me. God Bless!!!
The fact that you started from nothing to now being able to help whole community's really inspires me heavy D. This is what the world should be like there is so many rich people that could do so much more for the people, everything boils down to money. I know a handful of young strong guys that would move mountains for people if there was only the funds to do so. This video is badass man

I think about such things a lot lately and I just for the hell of it thought "What if 1 million people gave $500" and the total amount blew my mind, it's $500 million USD. I know some of these centers need to pay staff, electricity and etc. but the amount of money that actually goes to whatever cause you donate to is very little and it's sad because I know there's at least one million people in this country who would glady donate $500 and if WE could find a way to get all of it to go towards "the cause" whatever that might be WE can really do some great things for people who truly need/deserve it. Anyways sorry for rambling on but I love watching these group of guys doing such nice things for total strangers simply because they can it does the heart good.. Hope all is well with you and your family Ethan

@@imhappyandyou.4003 well most people are getting brain washed by politicians and the main stream media and Hollywood to suffer from Russian xenophobic Putin bogeyman syndrome to the point of throwing all our tax money on USA created proxy wars because they are emotionally invested in the lies as far back as McCarthy era mind control.
I've NEVER watched one of you guys' videos that's actually made me cry.... I've gotten choked up a few times but... I'm so proud to know there's people like you guys who will drop anything immediately to help your fellow Americans! May God continue to bless you richly! 🙏🏼🇺🇲🙏🏼
I look forward to seeing you run for president some day. You’re smart and a great leader. You’ve got drive, focus and compassion. You’re built for it.
I'm so glad you were able to go and help. It is such a wonderful thing to see during a time like this. ❤😊
I’m a mountain resident (Crestline for 5 years and now in Cedarpines Park). My son told me about you guys and your mission to help us up here. I am literally in tears as to your generosity to come out here and help our community. Thank you for the bottom of our grateful hearts ❤❤

Why don’t you help yourselves? It’s snow. You’re not a worm. You have arms and legs and can clear some snow yourself. And if you’re too old to clear snow, WHY TF ARE YOU LIVING ON A MOUNTAIN?!!
@dominicdurrant1200

@@poke-thom have you ever experienced that amount of snow? It's nearly impossible to dig your way out of it with hand tools. Hire companies could not make it in to the area so the residents were unable to bring in heavy hire equipement. Please instead of criticising the residents go help them, experience for it yourself and then have more appreciation for the plight of the guys.

I live in northern Indiana and in 78 when county officals were setting on snowmobiles looking down at the power lines beside them. Soo your not one of those lazy cry babies huh, take your ass to cali and start shoveling.. see how far you can get big boy. Its impossible and the last thing they need is some wise ass thats never touched a snow shovel blowing them shit!
Heavy's attitude is a lighthouse for all to see and it is very contagious. We need more like him!
...from here, where winters always mean hundreds of inches of snow, we watched wide-eyed as you gize, our neighbours, got hammered this year! Bravo, you good team, for relieving your fellows!...and another excellent production, good crew!...be well, all!...
You guys are an inspiration for those in my state to get help. Thank you guys for all your support and help. I personally don't live in San Bernadino but up north Redding Ca, and I'm beyond shocked to see so much snow.. ❤
This is what happens when you get your house in order, you build a strong family, strong team, and when the opportunity presents itself. You are able to help others because your house is in order. Bravo Dave on what you've built and how you've helped others.

Better say you're able to help because you're not buried in four feet of wet, heavy, compacted snow yourself in this case. So, not much to do about "house in order" versus "not",right? Just *no* county, no community, will be capable of handling catastropcic events like this on their own in such short time when it comes to money, manpower, logistics, and equipment...

@@andeekaydot Even if he was buried he has the equipment to get out and go help others. Your point negates itself. So, yes it has everything to do with having your house in order.

@@JordanMiller1117Sorry. *Your* point is negated. Obviously neither people nor communities were equipped to withstand a catastropy like this on their own. Thus is always and everywhere the case with such events. Had the helpers from abroad faced a similar event in their own area, they had not been able to help in CA. Be sure not even Mr Sparks could face such completely out of his own ressources.

Very emotional story but the reality is if you wanna live there, you need to be prepared for this, you need to understand the elements, have food, water, alternative sources of warmth, and needed medical items for at least 2 weeks. You need to clear snow, probably have some real equipment. So, that means you also need to be fit and healthy. Nature let you know, now go get prepared and don't let yourselves get into this situation ever again.
@EXROBOWIDOW

@@orthopraxis235 You can prepare all you want. There will come a time when something will happen that goes beyond what your preparations can handle. Telling people "don't let yourselves get into this situation ever again" shows you don't understand the real world. Headlines say San Bernardino County Coroner's Office is saying there have been 13 deaths, but only one was related to the storm. I have read at least one of the articles with this headline. It enumerated the circumstances of each of these deaths, and I don't see how they can attribute only one death to the storm. If you actually watched the video, the people are saying that the government stopped plowing the roads. Obviously, everyone in the video was alive and well, so they had made some preparations. Also, the amount of precipitation in California this winter has been mind-bending. Considering that last winter southern California got almost no rain to speak of, it was very hard to prepare psychologically for the opposite scenario. This morning, my rain gauge in coastal Los Angeles County showed 3.7 inches in 24 hours. This is the highest amount since I got the rain gauge in 2014. We also got over 3 inches one day in February. During last year's rainy season, we only had 2 days where we received over 1 inch of rain.

AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!!! Thank you to all the groups that helped the residents of San Bernardino.
Thank you guys so much for the hard work to help the people from San Bernardino. May God bless you all and your families as well. My wife and I live 4 hours north of Los Angeles in the desert and we are also having a hard time with the weather but, not as bad as southern California. I am a believer of helping one another as well and I thank God for your kind heart and for providing you with equipment that today is being employed to help in this time of great need. Best regards.
