I've NEVER seen a fish do this!

Hi there! Today I have something very special to share with you regarding our Starry Night cichlid. The Paratilapia sp. Marolambo. This fish is exhibiting some very unusual, very exciting behaviors. Let's check it out!

    Ive been keeping aquariums & fish for decades & I have never witnessed this kind of behavior before. Kind of strange. Stuff like this really makes the hobby interesting!

    Keep us posted to let us know if they continue to free swimming. It’s commonplace for many fish to even eat their own offspring so this is really unusual.

    I love your channel ,your fish room is fantastic,Samson I my favourite…I’m currently try to get my 8” fire eel to eat different foods as all he’ll eat is bloodworms and earthworms 👍

    The Starry Night has continued protecting them, but it probably won't be able to find off the other fish forever. :(

    since you asked, this vid [George Mavrakis Super Amazing! Found A Lot Betta Fish, Goldfish & KOi Fishes in Rice Field Farm] talks about a breeder who routinely take the eggs away from bad parent discus and gives them to an ugly parent male discus who is a good father. apparently the beautiful parents are too high strung to raise their own babies. start the vid at 9:40.
