Oh yeah! We do have to make tough choices in the hobby. There are so many choices & space always seems to be limited. I'm glad you are propagating & preserving some of the endangered species of Madagascar. Its important that aquarists take these factors into account when deciding what to keep & preserve. Wow super tough decision i don't know if I could. I would try if possible to squeeze another 75 gallon in. I truly hope you can find a very good home for the beautiful fish. Thanks for sharing

Shame!! I had this happened many many years ago. Exact same thing. From that point I move any babies to a 10 gallon with a sponge filter. No issues after this.

The Cichlid Room Companion is great. But it costs a small fee. Beyond that, Ad Konings has published several books on African Cichlids...all good.
