I really appreciate you putting up not only your wins, but losses too. Lots to learn about the hwoarang matchup for azu in this video. Ducking the high power crush is key for the matchup. Also the i10 combo in heat is ridiculous

Staying inside in punch range against Hwoarang works well. But that’s easier said than done. I don’t think Azucena has a very good generic poke game anymore unfortunately. Tough matchup considering his style of play. Awesome videos btw. Learned a lot watching them. Hopefully I can be a strong Azu player like yourself one day.

hey bro i got one thing you should do..i suffered against him as well..i been playing since tekken 3...... so against god tier hwoarangs... i usually try to learn him ...fight some offline matches with friends etc... i set "goals" basically for example: get him to particular rank online etc so i can have knowledge on hwoarang bcz he is very good in the hands of good player ...hope this helps

What I mean by that is we have to trick them by thinking and holding forward that THEY got the counter but in reality they did not And when they go for as usual 3,3,3 launcher on us which is high We can duck and launch them instead
