@PhiDX I'm a Tekken veteran since TTT1 and while this information isn't new to me. I can confidently say that this is one of the best beginner guides I've seen for Tekken. It's very well put together, you've got the gift of not only being a very good player but what not many of the top players have is the gift of being able to explain their train of thought and share knowledge in a clear and concise manner. I also really like that you put a lot of comparative screens next to each other, you also transition one bit of information into the next part in a very fluid manner. With very clear on-screen examples and concise text with highlighting for the stances. Great job man! perhaps Bamco should hire you to do some videos for them in the future :D

Yeah for real this is a great guide. I know a lot about FGs in general terms but I haven't played a Tekken game since part 3, well before I even knew what frame data is. This video was a huge help in getting the gist of the combat.

Tbh I been playing takken games for years especially takken tag tournament 2 But I haven’t play takken since then it’s good for beginners but in takken 8 the devs really help people for beginners on the controls for me I’m just very rusty in fighting games especially takken but my only complaint is where’s the run button and I already figured out the block button but overall I gonna whoop people’s ass 😂

As a beginner that understand sort of the very basic stuff this video really helped me understand what I'm needing to learn next and what I should start prioritizing. I just can't seem to get any better and feel like I'm constantly mashing buttons if I'm not randomly hitting either of my launchers that I know my combos for, but this gives me some more tools and hope the I can really start to understand whats going on.
