Just want to take a moment to appreciate the trains coming out of that mountain leaving some nice pillars in the middle of those roads. It's probably good for the drivers, keeps them on their toes.

One thing I particularly like about your videos is that while you do a lot of crazy stuff, you're actually genuinely very good at the games that you play. You're not randomly messing around like what many youtubers do, you actually know how the games work and you plan everything out properly

Hmm... I wonder if you can gamify, industrialize, and make efficient Space Engineers. Set up mining on multiple planets. Build the ships to carry the cargo. Build other ship to run your underground pirating operation and build asteroid mining operations everywhere... You would sink a TON of hours into that kind of endeavor... And you'd get a lot of great content! lol

The game will unload any ship beyond 5km from the player, which means any mining operations will stop only 5km from the player.

To fix the issue of not being able to sell the products in your Industrial areas, you can add warehouses as a buffer. The trucks will deliver from the production buildings to the warehouses first, leaving your buildings free to keep producing. Especially since you don’t have access to the cargo train yet.

Pro tip: TMPE and NEXT are great traffic mods that are quite intuitive and the entire community will recommend you to use them. Also do you have disasters enabled?

As someone who has played a quarter of your game time, but is into hyper detailed realistic cities, I died inside multiple times watching this. But I also understand that's boring for a lot of viewers, and that playstyle takes exponentially longer to progress than YOLO-ing a train through a mountain and across a neighborhood. I once spent 2 hours on a single interchange, it probably took Kibz less than that to build the entire train system lol

Kibitz You caught my attention... im a new subscriber and a genius mastermind, when you say "we exploit all things" well you dont you need a lot of toll booth in strategic location and you need to spam generic industry somewhere and just placed one entrance and exit road with a lot of tollbooth so you exploit 5% of this game

IIRC It was the Anarchy mod that allowed me to make double deck bridges. Very handy.

i like this experiment city's but even more i like city's with trains,subways and so on that look way more organic.

You could get a mod that turns cemetaries into power stations by burning the corpses of the deceased for fuel, instead of wasting valuable resources by just digging it down into the ground.

Glad to see you managed to get the trains looking decent, instead of the cursed holes and loopy winding track. All it took was anarchy and a headache.. Also, I've wondered for the longest time how you make your video's look like you are commenting live while playing, and now having seen you in action on stream I think I figured it out. Thats what the 4 2 17 save system is for!

You should use the train station hub, it has 6 train stations build into it, and a metro

That ferry ride is definitely cursed

Kibitz, don't forget parks! Land value means more upgraded buildings, means more people, means more money!!

You shoul check out some of the below ground trainstation assets, then you can put your rails underground more easily.

Cargo Harbour could do the trick what an interstate cargo train could do! :)

You should try some snowrunner. They got some mods that makes the train a crazy living thing that can't be stopped!

New Venturium: You'll get used to the smell.

Industries work on a cycle of producing and then selling. As such, they give a gargantuan burst of money and then stop exporting for a moment, leaving you incomeless. It's just like that.

I don't know if this game has mixed use zoning, but it definitely needs mixed use zoning. Buildings with shops in the bottom floor and residents in the floors above, shops in the middle of residential areas so people can walk to the shop, etc. Walkable cities are important because not only are they more pleasant for residents, but they're also more efficient, which means more profit if you're a for-profit city builder.
