The problem with scam land is that the main gate still isn’t connected, you can tell because the end of the path is rounded off instead of square. You can see the other entrance is squared off because it’s connected all the way up to the sidewalk. What you can do is build a couple of regular concrete paths (invisible against the pavement there) and connect it up to both crosswalks, should look the same AND be centered AND make money.

exactly. and the reason they phase through the high way is because there is a "secret" pedestrian access to the train station on the other side of the quaie. CS managed to connect the train station and high way through (I'm guessing) your anarchy mod setting.

True, however this is a weird glitch in the game! That exists since the launch date of the game! All DLC and updates a side, they never fixed this !!! Also Kibz should use TME (Traffic Manager) and enable advanced AI and realistic parking this solves many of this glitches and "car in your pocket"

@kibbitz Your alien train passengers are levitating to the overpass because the road itself is going through the train station hitbox, giving the trainstation passengers road access. You need to fix this because the cars on the lower road are stopped waiting for the pedestrians creating never ending traffic jam.

Kibz! Rip off tip of the day. Prevent pedestrians from just using the sidewalks on the road to your train station and create a foot path. Mark the area of the foot path as a park then add a park entrance. Pedestrians will have to pay to use the train station.

Build the space station INSIDE the park ! They'll have to pay to come back home

you can tell if your entrance works by loking at the end of the path that is included with the building if it is round it doesnt work if it's straight then it's fine

So a couple of things, The train station people is a result of using the anarchy mod. AI pathfinding and other vodoo magic. You need to build a taxi depot to have taxis to use at the stands. Scamland needs more conectivity to the rest of the city. Using moveit to move the main entrance is fine. Aslong as it's still touching the road.

This guy takes his fiduciary duty to another dimension. The best part about it is, that would give him a reputation of extremely high credibility, therefore attracting more shareholders. Genius. Absolutely genius.

You could have put the Space Elevator sectioned off from the park. They have to go through the Park Entrance to go *anywhere*. This will make the Park have an influx of revenue 😎

Kibitz, I’d suggest either buying Vehicles of the World or downloading even more vehicle models from the workshop, so your transit vehicles would have more capacity, at least if capacity is an issue.

Remove unnecessary traffic lights from service road connections. Also reduce amount off crosswalks. They slow traffic. Build pedestrian overpassses. You already have the mod. To just ctrl+b on intersection and it will create overpass

12:50 The hitbox of the train station is in the highway, the game thinks, that road is conected to the train station. Just my thought.

My thought too.

Make a park that you have to walk through to get from the space elevator to the train station. Have it charge full price. They'll be forced to pay to go to the train station - which they will. Insane profits.

Hi, a perfect way to make money is to make all the paths paid by making them all parks. So to use it they need to go through the main gate then walk the path and then through the other gate. If you do it everywhere you make so much money.

One idea, if you want to even further decrease the amount of cars, is add a ferry stop to each side of this area, and connect the ferry lines to your existing lines in the city

Should've put Scamland between the space elevator and the train/tram area. Make a path through the amusement park that's faster than walking around the park. They'll be quite happy to pay max price to simply walk across the place instead of pulling out their cars.

Perhaps the trains station issue is that you have the train anarchy'd through the bridge making a walking connection possible.

1. You need to add more residential so more people can actually move in 2. The reason those people may be flying is that the train station is below the highway and they think they can walk to it as they think it’s spa part of the station... maybe. It’s just a theory, A Game Theory!

Kibitz do you want to have more visitors in the park, just put the space elevator inside the park in a non-park zone and put park entrances around it, so they are forced to enter the park to visit the city.

You dont have enough public transport, if people have to wait to long they will take out a car and drive instead of public transport. therefore download a asset for better train/bus capacity. increase trains and buses if needed. add metro, people absolutely love metro. dot them around the place and people will no longer drive. good luck :)

Biffa should do a traffic fix with your city

Instead of moving your theme park's main entrance, bulldozing and rebuilding the roads in front of the park should work to reconnect the path. Start with just the roads going across the front of the park and then put in the road going at the front, the one that currently has the Space Elevator. That way your park entrance is where it needs to be and be connected properly without being messed up by the move it mod.

Build the space elevator inside the park, it’ll fix your customer problem.

Make the only path out of the train, the space noodle, and the tram/bus lines go THROUGH their own entrances to the amusement park and charge them admission as your force them through the park like cattle to slaughter them allow them to go where they want after going through the park.

You can make ur Tolls more profitabel If U use the ingame Tool to make IT Automaten and Then use Tmpe to adjust the Speedlimit in the toll to mach the Speedlimit of the connecting streets

yea, i was going to say least video the front gate won't work, but i had to wait to make sure because its on the T junction and centered like that it doesn't actually work properly when you moved it to the side slightly it connected, but now you have broken it again. maybe you could place it off center so it works, and smudge it over with move-it the side gate is so busy for this exact reason, the main gate isn't connected so its the only way into the park

RIP to that one shop that had its toe in the road

Try building your ScamLand park with the space elevator in the center. That way, all of those visitors have to walk through the park in order to go anywhere else. That should help bring up your park level fast.

If the people want the train station, and you want the people in scam land, could you force them by putting the train station inside of scam land?

The reason why people are glitching out and running into the middle of the highway is because there are too many people waiting for trains. You need to increase your train budget a bit, and add more cars to every train.

I'm pretty sure the issue with the people teleporting to the highway is because you Anarchy'd the highway too close to the train station, so the game thinks there's a valid walking path from the back connection on the station too the highway. Raising the road by a little bit would probably fix it.

hey @imkibitz there's a beautiful mod I think that will help you make more of the moneyz! It's called more vehicles and it replaces the default limit of 16000 vehicles with 64000 and I believe it increases the walking people game limit aswell. We all know that more vehicles and more ppl = more $$$

The "long" bendy buses you put in the mega buys station are airport buses. Since not all of them go to the airport you should probably change them. If you have the Vehicles Of The World content creators pack you can get non airport bendy buses and SUPER bendy buses with a capacity of 100 people. This would be profitable for the city because bigger buses means less buses, less buses mean less drivers and less drivers means less pay (more money).

I think you should rejigger the space elevator to be on one side of Scamland with the only access to the rest of the city being to buy a ticket and walk through the park, you know Perfectly Balanced.

Kibitz, you should see if you can participate (at the very least as guest) in the KZread series "5 builders 1 City" (5b1c) and make some new -slums- friendly neighbourhoods... They are just starting a new season.

the CIMS spawn point is being blocked by the bridge... and other things, so they instead spawn somewhere else then goto that spawn point.. its weird remove the bridge/road up top and it will be fixed

In the information panal in the top left you can see the traffic routes, letting you know where the people are going.

They should build the space elevator in the theme park

I think the entrance to the amusement park isn’t actually connected to the road. Did you place it with move it or with road anarchy enabled? Try placing it again without those mods enabled and maybe also try moving the entrance so that it’s not at an intersection.

There's so many unnecessary traffic lights that is fucking with the traffic as well. Definitely need to fix that
