What an amazing video-as always! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on Enscape and, more specifically, the latest improvements that came with Enscape 3.5. We're so happy to hear they're saving you so much time so you can focus on other things, like creating stunning projects just like this one ✨
The improvements made to Enscape since I last worked with it are remarkable. Great job! I currently exploring d5 render

@@ShowItBetter A few years ago, I gave Enscape a try but wasn't pleased with the results, so I stopped using it, I'm pleasantly surprised to see how much it has evolved and how good it is now.

i wish they will improve the camera and can render portrait, its really hard to do it with the right camera angle. also add round corner to make it more realistic like in d5. right now i switch to d5 because it has a good GI than enscape and has ray tracing. The only downside of d5 is it makes bigger files and eat a lot of space in hard drive.

Ya me too, I prefer enscapes UI and workflow but in the end, D5 has more realistic lighting and higher detail objects that give it a better outcome which is what matters the most in the end. The unlimited free version was also more attractive to begin with..
Hi Steven. Exceptional video! Not only the content is spot on but also the editing and background music, making it not only informative but also entertaining. Keep the great work!

the improvement is insanely good. i was waiting for this exact video while u posting it on insta and thought also u would go indepth like i always finds it difficult to have a good glass material and reflection and light shadow and how u achieved that
@ShowItBetter
Жыл бұрын
hey! tbh the glass material and reflectivity for this specific project (and the majority) that I use, is the default one. I don't modify any extra parameters, so that is why I didn't go too indepth into that

Enscape is my "go to" when i have to get a quick and good quality render for client. Most of the time he's doing the job and it's enough. It works so well directly integrated into sketchup and 'im still amazed by his quickness. I wish they could add minor thing especially in the light section, like a true "mesh light" option, be able to use "gobo", enable or not the reflection of specific lights... And for texture maybe some "subsurface scattering" to really increase realistic render or multi layering / falloff to get nice velvet fabric. But i'm pretty sure they will keep the good work :)
@ShowItBetter

I totally get you! if just some minor tweaks were added, Enscape would be a great overall option!
It would be helpful if you also show the post production process. Thank you for always being helpful.

Well to be honest until now I have only used the built in library from Enscape, which has pretty good trees from famous archviz libraries. But you can also use the library from EpicGames for free of their Megascans and import it into Sketchup. Have you tried it?
I came here to check whether Enscape could be an alternative to Twinmotion but I stayed for the compositions. You do a great job of helping your viewers and clients to imagine their spaces. I wonder if you have classes on how to improve composition in visualisations.
@ShowItBetter

thanks, it's something I try to spend some time thinking of and doing. It's sometimes harder than texturing, modeling or lighting, because rules change with each project. If I ever create a video on it or course, Ill for sure let you know :)

I haven't done one yet but this is a good idea!
i was an Enscape user and i swetched to mac and the choices that i had where Blender Twinmo and Unreal. after a few moment later they add Enscape for mac but it was not the same experience with Window Enscape for mac was just burk so i focus on twinmo Blender and Unreal and now i use Sketchup for modeling LayOut for documenting blender to render images and blender KIT to populate my model with hight quality fournitures... and unreal to creat walk.... the cool stuff here is the fact that you can add your fourniture and export as a gltf to use them directly in Unreal .Thanks

some of the lamp fixtures I used does have a glow effect in the final render, although you can mostly control it through the general interior light option, not one by one (at the moment)
does enscape use full potential of the RTX gpu? or is it just like previous lumion (rasterization only)

there is a very fine line in your understanding of a “high quality rendering”! Enscape is fast but for multiple reasons cant give you the quality render that you talking about! Enscape is good for architecture competions with very tiny time, fast with a normal “quality” for whats is the purpose..with a lot of pos production for sure..
@ShowItBetter
Жыл бұрын
I see it as a high quality rendering within the context of extra fast render times. I think that among real time rendering engines, probbaly this is the one that can give you good high quality renders for such a short period of time investment. Of course, it all ends up on the person who is making them. I've seen really good renders made in Enscape, and bad ones made in vray. But we all know it depends on the knowledge each one has about texturing, lighting and composition
I tried the student version once a couple years back when I was a student. Let's just say the renders blew my professor's sock off. Because back then 3d animation was only achievable by rendering that cost you shit ton of time and money
Really nice explanation of enscape, I have a request can you provide your HDRI sky file
