This is so good! These techniques are way more important than the rendering engine itself. Loved the editing of this video as well. Sick!!! 🔥

The Venice example compares a two-point perspective and a one-point perspective, which architects call an elevation ( your "frontal view." It is helpful to know the correct terminology to have a professional understanding of these views.

Hi friend! Architectural designer here. An elevation is not the same as a one-point perspective; elevations are orthogonal, with no vanishing point. Simply calling the perspective a frontal view is correct :)

  • @ranphopro

@@dillonvandergriff4124 "An elevation is not the same as a one-point perspective." That is correct. But one-point perspectives may contain elevations, as is the case here. The entirety of the view in question is a one-point perspective, as evidenced by the sides of the left and right buildings receding to a central vanishing point. However, the central building being discussed is the issue, and it is a rectified (orthogonal) frontal view, which in architectural terminology is an elevation. That is what I was referring to. The presenter used the term "frontal view" to indicate that the view was flat, not in perspective. I offered a more specific term to articulate the distinction to a general audience. All three front facades in the view are in elevation. If the presenter wants to be perceived as an authority, he is better served by using professional terms that he can explain to his audience. As a former architect practicing architectural photography, I create and evaluate these kinds of images all day long.

haha being a good architect is 50% knowing how to design and 50% knowing how to communicate that design to the world. They depend on each other!

It was really interesting and exact subject that I was searching for but all the examples are about the projects which has only one building and mostly a tall one but I'm working on a project in historical context which is located on a horizontal city with narrow streets and I have to design a group of buildings for my infill design. So I don't exactly know what to do for renderings' views.

glad you liked the video Zahra! You can check out the pages and links of each render artist, they used different kinds of buildings and projects in different settings, so maybe you can find the one that can work best as a reference.

Love the hero shoot. To bad most clients don't like the closeup shoot as it doesn't show most of their work but most of your work... Technically any angle you choose falls into one of those categories you just need to understand what it is you are showing and why. Thanks, sponsor also looks interesting, used something else a few years ago sketchboard or something like that. but this one looks better.

While Milanote is a decent tool, I often find myself struggling to determine the best way to organize my board. Although they provide templates, I still get stuck when deciding how to structure my boards. When things aren't perfectly organized, it becomes frustrating, and I end up abandoning the task altogether.
