Looks like episodic Seborrheic dermatitis. Are you still using the Head and Shoulders shampoo?

Yes, I still use the shampoo. It only flakes the week after menstruation. A lot of women I know and talk to experience the same. I will research what you provided for additional info. Thanks for the heads up! 🙏🏽

Yes it is true that during the menstrual cycle, the change in hormones can affect ur scalp. It can cause dandruff, oily scalp, dry scalp, irritation etc. Many women experience this but not all. You can look it up on any medical website.

@@mousepumpkin7564 100% true! 👌🏾
Sis I started back using grease and I will never stop. I cut back using most of my products!
You are amazing! It's because of your videos my hair has become healthy again, after many years. Also, I started putting grease on the edge of my right side and I actually see new hair growth. Thank you and God bless!
I think you're right. Before watching your video, I thought I had dandruff pretty bad around my edges but not so much on the rest of my head. Thank you Mrs Mississippi

You’re welcome!
Try Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo. Flakes are dried skin that's shedding really fast. You possibly need moisture in your hair, shampoo and deep conditioner.
This looks like seborrheic dermatitis, I suffered from this but recently I cleared it up... mix monistat7+bluemagic equal parts and it will clear up within a week
You have taught me some things about how our scalp reacts to aunt flo. I just washed my hair and saw that dry scalp.

Awesome!
Try some sunflower oil and massage it on those areas. I get those dry patches on my temples from those greasy protein gelz. I should leave em alone, but they the only things that lay my edges down. I massage my scalp with olive oil and ginger every other day and it has drastically' reduced my scalp excemza.
I’ve been following your method for 3-4 weeks and my hair is sooooo moisturized!!!! Thank you for the tips. But question why should anyone avoid castor oil?

You’re welcome 😇 I will be doing a video on castor next.
I've learned a lot checking out your channel 😃, thanks for sharing. Question...have you ever dealt with baldness / alopecia? If so, how did you do to treat it?
Thanks for another helpful video

Hi! I do it like once or twice a years.. I have a video posted to show the routine. I think it’s titled as one of my wash day routine videos. I posted it about 2 years ago I think.
Hello, 👋 🙃 can you make a video of how you straighten your hair, please 🙏 ?

Hi! Yes, but it will be at the end of the year. I might blow dry it soon and will post a video soon.
How often do you wash your hair? Thanks for being vulnerable enough to share this!

You're welcome! The goal is every 2 to 3 days, but since quarantining, it's been about 5 days. In this video, it had been about 5 days after Aunt Flo which is waaaaay too long. I had also been out in the sun.

@@mrs.mississippi5035 you mentioned in one of your video’s that every 2-3 days you’d wash your scalp only and not the hair. This week I tried your water and grease method and am amazed at how moisturised my hair is, however my scalp started itching on day 3 or 4 after shampooing , you said when this happens to you you would wash only your scalp to add moisture back in . I was wondering how I should exactly do it (should I wash my hair in twists or not) and should I re-grease/ re-twist my hair after shampooing my scalp? You and your daughters have beautiful hair, God bless you😊❤️
Thank you
Do dandruff shampoo clarify the hair?
@mrs.mississippi5035

I wouldn’t say clarifying, but it is stripping. Head and Shoulders leaves a coating on the hair and scalp.
I would recommend you talk about fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
Look up growing dandruff......
