    This series is so cool. I don't think there's ever been anyone who did a series like this, where the player works so hard and gets lessons from the same coach on a regular basis. Dana obviously doesn't need your help, but this is an amazing showcase of his craft. Of course, it's also an amazing showcase of your work ethic.

    When he said his high swing speed guys already have this. That he doesn't need to talk about it. I was a high speed guy and the light bulb went on for me at that point. This side bend part may be why I slowed down. I will be checking on this for sure in the coming weeks. I appreciate the content! It's outstanding!

    The ground force spoke to me this morning. Very helpful to hear the “pressure plate” idea of pushing behind with the lead foot. Using the ground. I’ve always misinterpreted that idea of just simply pushing up with lead foot, but it’s a push and twist. Like I’m trying to spin the earth underneath my feet. Great video! Swing looks great!

    It's Malcom Gladwell's10k hours. So, if you started with coaching at 10 you would be around scratch at 17 or so. With interminable, or constant practice, that is every day. The process can be accelerated but not rushed. I might add good teacher as I am now striking the ball more crisply and my swing is even better after listening to him. Everything feels more precise, I guess it is the wrist angles.

    I've tried this but you really have to grind to get into those positions man. Don't try it if you're not fit like Jerome or willing to put in the work. I wasn't and I haven't been able to achieve that rotational or pushing feeling where your hips just open up naturally.

  • @danielloh3025

    @danielloh3025

    4 ай бұрын

    Not your fault. Some of the instructions are inconsistent and unclear. But I will leave it as that as I will most certainly get flak for saying so .. 😅 For the rotational feel, I can give a drill that has helped me. You can also see on the Tour, some pros will do practise swings with an outside to in motion, why? Coz you want the same feel after impact of the outside to in swing .. here is the drill for the out to in swing .. Suppose your address, backswing action and takeaway is correct, now we want to first takeaway the club on the outside of the ball line to the top. At the top of the swing, you will feel that the turn is incomplete. As you swing down, your club is coming in from out to in. To hit the ball, you will need to keep your left hip back and swing the club in and then up. This outside in swing will should produce a ball flight that starts left .. that is what you want. But more importantly, you want the feel of what your left hip is doing and how your arms should fold after impact. Do this drill slowly first and at impact, we want the clubface to face the target too. Once you can hit the ball left with this out to in swing, all you need to do is to practise by adding more turn on the backswing and keeping the same feel after impact. You will see your ball flight becoming straighter. See if this out to in swing will help you coz it is one drill that has helped me tremendously. Your ball contact will also be better coz there is less sway and less spine tilt .. Btw, if your ball fades back to the centre, you can certainly also play with this outside to in swing too .. 😃

    Great job Jerome! I've been a fan since day one and I'm rooting for you. Now you have to take that to the course. I know you practice a lot and that's awesome, but you don't seem to take your skills to the course. In your on-course videos, you don't seem to take your play seriously. You are too loosie /Goosy. You rush every thing, you want to narrate every single second and don't take your time aiming, or even taking meaningful practice swings and you wind up aiming right of your target most of the time. I've yet to see you stand behind the ball to pick a target line. Stop guessing whether you are going to swing, 70, 80, 90%. Learn stock yardages for all your clubs and play those yardages. Pick a percentage (75, 80, 85%) that will get you a balanced swing and swing that way for all your full shots, until you get inside of 100 yards when then you have to use your short game skills. Anyways, I enjoy your videos, and again, I'm rooting for you. Good luck!

    You should feel, like your eyes are directly over the right foot, all the way through the downswing and past impact. If you move the eyes to the ball, just a fraction approaching impact, see how it closes the face. You aren't striking the inside of the golf ball anymore. Watch top ball strikers, they are always looking back and down at impact, not forward. Hope this helps 😊
