As far as I am concerned, more italian is what I need here !! Opponents falling one after the other. I think Alessia's games are starting to have an effect on my ( low-level ) play. Second time noticed you play d3 in the scandi opposed to d4, which would be your usual style. Was going to ask your reason but just figured it out. Bf5 is annoying in some lines and also early queenside castle can put pressure down the d file.

Also d4 becomes annoying to protect after long castle where the rook is directly aimed at the pawn and the knight still sitting on c3

But on the other hand, you get a rook. I really hope Alessia will see this and comment. I'd like to know what her reasoning was. (edit) - I just saw she commented on it in another thread - looks like she just didn't notice.
