I Try To Reach 2000 ELO in 30 Days - Day 23

It’s day 23. I’m trying to raise my chess rating from 0 to 2000 ELO within 30 days.
RULE 1: Only Rapid Games.
RULE 2: I have to explain every single move I play.
RULE 3: I will give you a checklist of things that you must do to improve your rating.
RULE 4: If I lose a game, I have to play the GROB (worst chess opening) in the next one.
This speedrun is authorized on chess.com. The ELO points will be refunded.

    Wow Alessia. I'm impressed. Starting from the bottom of the barrel with barely any ELO as an absolute beginner completely new to chess, and rising your way up within three weeks with already so much gained knowledge that you are even teaching us what to play like a pro! This must be one of the fastest recorded chess climbs ever by anyone in history. This is pretty much unbelievable. Better yet, become the world's newest World Champion one day, whilst breaking a plethora of world records on the way. They grow up so fast :,) On a real note, if you keep this ELO improvement trend up, you'll for sure get to 2000 before 30 days! Imagine if you were to have to play the grob right before the finish line, against a 2000... Hehehe >:) Thank you for the always insightful videos ;) (P.S. the first paragraph of course was mainly just complete sarcasm x)

    Really ❤️ your bubbly personality & passion for the game, defo taken some gems from your constructive tips, especially like the advice on which rook to capture with a n fork, however I'm a kings gambit player & actually I'm going to be running through your first game to make sure I don't fall for the same tricks they did,😊

    Review done, so you played the falkbeer counter gambit, modern variation, x pawn instead of push, most people push, both options lead to sharp games & white often can't castle,but that's the nature of the kings gambit, things can get very risky very quickly, it aint the london system. Quite simply your opponent flopped when you pushed c6, instead of taking they should of pushed D4, if blk takes white pushes C5, blk is a pwn up but both isolated pawns so game kinda still even, I think black is imediately better if white captures c6 like your opponent did,

    I don't understand, I'm playing around 900-1000 elo players & they are way better than the opponents u get with 1900 elo. They don't blunder pieces like this what is going on

  • @flotto7045

    @flotto7045

    The easy answer is you're making worse moves than her so you give them less opportunitys to blunder. If you played against one of these 1800 players you'd (presumably) feel completely hopeless.

  • @konroh2

    I think it's the time constraint too. I play 15/10 and yes the players seem stronger at about 1200, I wish there were more blunders.
