I Try to Reach 2000 Elo in 30 Days - Day 4

I’m trying to raise my chess rating from 0 to 2000 ELO within 30 days. It’s day 4.
RULE 1: Only Rapid Games.
RULE 2: I have to explain every single move I play.
RULE 3: I will give you a checklist of things that you must do to improve your rating.
RULE 4: If I lose a game, I have to play the GROB (worst chess opening) in the next one.
This speedrun is authorized on chess.com. The ELO points will be refunded.

    I’ve made a practice account to train a new opening before. Not sure why but my opponent at 800-1000 actually played quite well and don’t die this fast. I even lose to a 800 once. Maybe it’s because I’m practicing hippo and playing it with both black and white.

    In realtà Cxe4 perde per il nero perché dopo fxe4 Dh4 Rd2, il nero in attacco ha solo la donna, tant'è che stockfish dà +2, mentre nella difesa Damiano e4 e5 Cf3 f6 Cxe5 fxe5 Dh5 Re7 Dxe5 Rf7 Ac4, stockfish dà +5 perché il bianco ha donna e alfiere in attacco, non solamente la donna.. why your opponents with ~1000 elo rating do so many mistakes (and in general in chess video) !? this happens very rarely to me. Also, how could you gain +25 elo each game you win ? mine are giving +7 or +8 with same range of elo difference then you have with your opponents in your video. I like your content btw :)

  • @MannyDelara1

    @MannyDelara1

    11 ай бұрын

    It looks like there's more mistakes because she is able to punish them. When you play an opponent that is actually your elo, they're not able to see how to take advantage of those mistakes. Also she is gaining that much elo because it is a new account. Since she hasn't lost at this level, it increases elo faster to try and figure out how strong of a player she is. Once she starts losing games the elo gained by winning will be less

Imagine saying I am going to be a professional golfer. Not saying you cant do it. You will need 10 000 hours of play and study assumimg your iq better than 110 or a your a strategic genius. Anyway like I said not trying to be a bummer. Will be fun to watch at least.
