Grandma’s marathon in Minnesota 👀
Well done. A million steps in a month sounds difficult but doable.
Awesomeee. Congratulations.
Well done mate! I walked 100k steps on December 5, 2020. I started at 3:45am and finished at 11:31pm (19 hours and 46 minutes). I spent the next three days doing as little walking as possible. It was definitely the hardest and longest physical activity that I put my body through. Though I felt really happy that I conquered the challenge. I attempted it a second time on October 26 last year and even though I only got to around 80k steps, I was still happy with myself. I'm thinking of attempting it again either in the next few weeks or sometime in late October, November or December.

Thanks for watching Rich!
I did a "Million Step March" back in March of 2021. I ended the month at 1.29 million steps (covered the million steps in 23 days). Did a ton of jogging in place (along with my regular run training; 226 miles run that month). My biggest day was 63,000 steps. You would have little issues doing it with your ultra background.

Do you think 1 million steps in a week is doable? 🫣

@@HaydenMaples I'm sure it is "doable", but I wouldn't try that....There are people (like those that do the Trans-Continental) that cover 55-60 miles per day that approach 1,000,000 steps in a week, but they are at the very top of the ultra mountain and have oodles of support systems in place.
Subscribed. Wanna see you do those big ones. I’ve thought about the 1 mil in a month.

I’ll have to give it a shot!
I saw this on Strava first and was thinking, "What is Hay-Man up to?" Looks fun! And yeah, walking is hell on the heels. I feel like my feet hurt more after long walks rather than long runs. And I like how you speak in "we"s - that way I feel like I walked 50 miles, too. My heels hurt by the end of this video. 😄

We did a great job 😂 Also, I enjoyed your video of you running around the town you grew up in and sharing stories! Cool concept!

@@HaydenMaples Thanks! I mostly lifted the idea from Beau Miles, only he did a marathon around his hometown on his 42.195th birthday. But I highly recommend "nostalgia running" when you get the chance. I have several more nostalgia runs planned for summer-but probably not vlogged since they only have meaning for me...and running back to get the camera can take you out of the moment, nahmean? 😄
Inspirierend! ❤
This is a champion right here!!
