Nice to come across your KZread channel. I'm an Australian 64 yrs and have only embraced my curls for the past couple of years. I let my hair go grey which took a few years and is totally natural now and is just below my shoulders. I get so many women randomly coming up to me in shops etc and telling me they love my hair....which is so lovely to hear, without sounding vain. I just wish it didn't take me a life time to get here, as I have always tried to manipulate my hair into something it was not supposed to be. From frizz to voila it looks the best it has ever been.

The T-shirt method is amazing. It picks up the drips well without overly drying the hair.

4 years of being natural. Spent 100’s of dollars on products, lots of tears and frustration but so happy with 3b/3c curl pattern. Totally agree. It’s takes a longgggggg time to work out what works for you. But don’t give up!!

Thanks for the tips! I’m very new to this-have thick, course, wavy hair. Should you ever comb/detangle curly hair? How do you get rid of the strands of hair that would normally be removed by brushing? Thanks for your help

Try smasters technique. I have thin, frizzy, low density hair and works wonders for me. When my hair is 50% dry and starts to frizz I wet my hands and put a little of anything that I want this time. Gel for hold, cream for more Ringlets. My hair becomes more curly this way. Wet styling prevents frizz, but when my hair is wet is more heavy and less curly. By reapplying on dump hair a little product I have more than definition

I was waiting for the magic cut! How did you cut it? What should I ask for? (My hair is very fine and thin, and wavy rather than curly. It curls quite well when it wants to, but I don't know how to make that consistent.)

Do you have fine hair? I know it may seem unconventional but I"m a guy with hair about your length and the first thing I noticed was how the before photos look almost exactly how mine looks. I know my hair has curl to it and I'm trying to embrace is by looking through video's like yours. The frizz, and honestly I just think I don't have the kind of cut I need for it, it causing some problems. It's definitely been a learning experience. I'm definitely trying that conditioner in a bowl trick

omg, i love my curls! as naturally curly myself, i found the very FIRST thing to do is get a hair cut, for the curls (nime has always been layered)curly hair HAS to be cut a certain way, it's where the frizzies and unruly hair really shows if it isn't. ask your hairdresser. if she doesn't know how to cut the curl, find someone else. you can look up "pineapple method" for plopping? that's the term i've heard before.

Okay so I watched several of your attempts to get the frizz out. So I'm a little confused as to the process now, because at the very end you said that you didn't wash your hair and then proceeded with the other methods so now I'm not really sure what the steps are. I do know that I've used Aveda products and they are excellent

No one talking about what products to use for chemo curls which have so much frizz. So trying to use some of these but it would help if what to do to reduce frizz especially products after shampoo and conditioner as no shampoo or conditioner seems to have made any difference

wait, what did I miss, you went from wash 5, which left you with undefined and frizzy curls, just as all 4 previous washes, to a segment, that says "after 2+ washes and hair cut", with perfect curls..... mmm, how did that happen? did you change products? because it was obvious the ones you were using weren't doing anything for your curls...
