Very heroic police officer saved my life in 2011. No one heard, didn't make headlines or the news, wasn't on social media. Bad cops victimizing communities treating human beings like they aren't, only get coverage. Media should cover brutality extensively just not to the exclusion of all else. @@O5-7 You are correct. Crime is actually way down, and we are living in the safest time in human history. At any other time period, a person was much more likely to victim of violence, but if all you do is watch TV, you will think that it is unsafe to ever leave your home. This is only one reason why I got rid of my cable subscription. Quitting my addiction to Television news was very similar to quitting my addiction to cigarettes; now that I'm over it, I don't even want to be around it.

Not quite sure how I stumbled across this video. As a currently serving police officer, I love that you dove into this without bias and published it for the world to see. The individuals (officers) in this video are very good at explaining the tactics used and it shows that they have a passion for training and putting on the streets the best possible police recruits. Thank you for enduring this to show your subscribers.

i can surely appreciate all the training and sacrifice these men and women do for us and put their lives on the line every day for us.

@@emiliajones8090 Most academies don't the Taser certification anymore, it's usually handled by your department. But much rather be tased than have a OC spray exposure. The pain of the taser is greater, but only last 5 minutes than you feel like a million dollars and it's over.

She's a badass for doing the whole course, but especially the taser and pepper spray thing. The latter really really sucks.

I've actually thought about becoming a cop before but I decided against it, not because of what people think about cops (I love cops, don't get me wrong) but because I have epilepsy and can't drive or be tased, and all that jazz. I'll just stick to loving and lifting them up. 🤗😂👍❤️❤️❤️

I 100% agree. I'm no longer certified, but I definitely see how often EMTs are forgotten. Obviously we don't do it for the recognition (or the pay if there is any lol), but it's still nice to not be forgotten!

@@oooqwe5350 I'm an MP in the Army and had to go through being tased/OC (pepper spray)/cs gas chambers multiple times/asp or baton training/shooting ranges, etc. Didn't cry for any of that, except i guess for OC Spray, You don't really have a choice, but honestly, OC spray will make a bitch out of anyone.

I was tased in the Marine Corp and pepper spray in Corrections academy.. getting sprayed is worst ! It lingers for so long. Almost had a panic attack 😂

The amount of respect that I have for these officers and people that go through this like Michael is insane.

In my hometown in Colorado, some guy MADE a tank and destroyed buildings. I remember seeing the footage of the cops trying to break inside to stop the disturbed guy. Cops deal with so much variety it's nuts!

I have a lot of respect for you doing this, my grandpa was actually a police officer at the same place you did this at ❤ keep doing this you have no idea how much you have inspired me

I have a lot of respect for you to go and experience the other side of a conversation to fully understand what is being discussed. A lot of people only listen to one side or another and don’t research everything before making a conclusion.

Being a police officer is one of those professions where you are only truly appreciated when you are needed.

Wow..seeing her react to pepper spray made me wince. Watching Michelle work with cops to sample life as a cop is amazing. She has an innocence to her that is endearing and it shows on her face as she learns.

"I'm going to refrain from that responsibility..." So humble.

Uh, girl, my mind’s open. 😂 I didn’t say there aren’t any like her, or police officers are terrible. We just deserve every officer to be as intelligent, warm, and kind-hearted as Michelle. And hopefully she’s inspired some of those people to take the plunge to go protect and serve.

Thank you for sharing*( never had first glimpse of what they do

as much as i enjoyed watching this video, as I felt sad to see only 12 million views. this type of production should be shown by at least 100 million taking into consideration that Michelle went through rough experiments, and test to show her audience what those heroes goes through daily to keep the community safe.

I cried so much when the officer was recalling his story of being shot at. I cannot imagine being in a situation like that. We should all thank the police officers that are helping communities all over the world

My dad's a police chief, and he brought me to the station when I was really young for "bring your kid to work day." He was training a new police officer and forgot to put me on watch inside his office. So I ended up going outside where the newbie was half throwing up and crying with all fours on the ground from the same routine they did with the pepper spray, and I started bawling my eyes out because I remember myself thinking that he was about to die.

In the beginning with the boat and stuff it reminded me of this one time where me and my friends were sitting on the sid of the road next to a ditch and this cop who lived in the sub division I think slowed down and shouted out "you guys should move more into the ditch because you someone might come speeding around the corner and clip you" and I didnt feel embarrassed one bit I felt normal like it was just a cop doing their job protecting people (I was still in elementary at the time by the way) we all even laughed a bit about it and that possibly saved our lives so yeah
