Chocolate is basically just Cocoa butter, with only sugar added and also milk in many cases. 🍫

The oil bite was a huge power move
We all gasped at the bite 😮
Soak the sichuan peppers (and peppercorns if you want) in hot water for several minutes or until they are soft. Frying them dry tends to burn the flavor. Just make sure you pat them dry after before tossing them into the hot oil. Also, you can add them at the end ofthe frying processes since they don't take long to draw the flavor from anyway.

In Filipino cooking, we use annatto / achuete seeds / powder to make food a bit more red/orange, including oils if you want to try that

My grandpa told me that my uncle used to eat butter. He said they’d open the butter tub and little finger indentions would be in it. I always thought it was so gross. Maybe it’s a thing though 😂

its just big hunks of fat they cut away from roasts and steaks etc. i see them in grocery stores from time to time, usually by stuff like oxtail, pork necks, chicken feet etc... whats its used for? any time you need cooking oil you can use tallow

Blend your chili peppers then add them. Strain through cheese cloth. I made spicy garlic confit to add to local honey for a hot honey.
