Many thank to @Vintagebursche for gifting me this amazing book! I made the #1920s #flatcap and #bakerboycap and I loved it! They are truly timeless items and a staple in any snazzy dresser's

Haha, thank you! I'm happy people seem to like my channel content😊 I love his eyebrows too!❤
American and i wear alot of flatcaps. Its not very common where i live. I love very baggy style flatcaps that kinda droop over my ears. I wear them alot while fishing and help my uncles on their ranch.
They're both super cool hats! And the mock up cap suits you as well. Very nice!

Oh loved those caps as a teen! Still have one "Elbsegler" - this is a beautiful project maybe I need to check this sewing book out. But poor Turtle. He looks a bit like the old turtle companion in my English book : Trundle

It's a great book! I have plans to try and alter some of the clothing patterns to fit me.

Wow I’ve been looking everywhere for a cap pattern like this! Is it possible to get a copy of it sent to me so I could have a go at making one? 😃
Love these! I'm new to sewing, and am having some trouble with some fabric. What needle size did you use for your husbands cap? Thanks!

Ooh, that's a good question...I think I used either a 70 of an 80 for the machine sewing but I have no clue what I used for the hand sewing, sorry! Probably a medium size.
Commercial books these days are $20-$30 these days. Small independent books on specialty subjects can often reach $50. I have paid $40-$50 for books I really wanted, but often times I've used bank points for Amazon gift cards and was able to lower the price that way. You can also suggest to friends and family book/amazon gift cards for Birthdays or Christmas if they insist on getting you gifts.
Poor turtle, he looks very surprised! All three caps are very nice and you all look great in them, but is madame's cap? Hope you and yours have a safe and fun filled holiday season.

You should have interfaced the tweed before stitching. However the caps are beautiful.

Hi William! There's an English version of the book, perhaps you could ask if you can download that one instead?
Is this digital book in English?
