About Catbird Hotel:
Opened in August 2021, Denver’s RiNo Art District is home to Catbird, an independent hotel by Sage Hospitality Group. Catbird blurs the lines between hotel and home, creating adaptable spaces that foster a deep sense of belonging for guests and the community. The hotel’s 165 guest rooms, which encompass a four-bedroom historic home preserved as part of the hotel, feature full kitchens with high-end housewares, unique storage and custom-built, multi-functional furniture that provide comfortable, livable spaces for everything from a one-night stay to longer, extended stays. Additional home-away-from-home amenities include the Catbird Playroom - a gear locker stocked with bikes, cameras, musical instruments and much more - Catbird Kitchen for coffee and grab-and-go dining, complimentary laundry services, package delivery lockers, long-term storage, a dog run, a fitness center - even a plant rental program. Catbird also features more than 3,800 square feet of meeting and event space, including its 3,300 square foot rooftop deck, where in addition to a 360-degree view of Denver’s skyline and the Rocky Mountains, guests will find fire pits, hot tubs, an amphitheater, a lawn with life-sized games and the hotel’s signature bar and restaurant, The Red Barber.

There are a few cons at the Catbird you should have mentioned in your compensated video. First, the RiNo district is going through a significant growth period, so expect many new apartment buildings to be built around the hotel in 2023. The Catbird plans to construct an adjacent building in the coming year, so there will be more construction and noise. On Friday & Saturday nights, the units that face Walnut Street are subject to loud trucks, buses, booming stereos that rumble the building, fire trucks, ambulances, etc. About a block away is a train yard - the trains idle, and the diesel exhaust fills the air if you're out for a walk. The units with pedestal beds, including the steps, can be tricky to maneuver around and out of. The dishwasher and the microwave aren't standard brands, so they're a bit tricky to operate and come with no instructions (there's no outside indicator light to let you know if the dishwasher is on or finished). If you have the room lights on and stay idle in the room (say, watching TV), the lights automatically turn off (even in the shower) Tip: To get them back on, open the unit's door and repeat the routine every 15 minutes. The stove-top burners are also quirky to operate. If you are there for an extended stay (30 days or more), maid service costs $95 per visit. You can ask for fresh towels and sheets. The shower water controls are awkward. None of the kitchen cabinets with supplies are labeled, so it takes a while to remember where things are. The closest grocery store is about five blocks away (in each direction). It's a natural food store, so you might want something else. Black Shirt Pizza is the only nearby restaurant. If your room faces Walnut Street, the folks at Walnut Flats across the street can see right into your room. There's a TV in the kitchen area, but it helps to have all the shades down to avoid glare on the screen. There's also a projector to watch TV on, but make sure you don't get the identical remotes mixed up. They should be labeled. The projector's fan is noisy, and you have to crank up the volume occasionally. If you're expecting a package or letter, you can only sometimes count on the staff to tell you about it. It's best to visit the mailroom yourself. Valet parking is expensive - $42 for 24 hours. They have only six stalls, so it's uncertain where your car goes when things are busy. If you run out of room supplies like dishwasher powder, tissues, toilet paper, and paper towels, the staff or the maid will give some, but they are a little stingy with what they hand out. The Catbird can be a fun place to stay, but they must work on all the frustrating things mentioned above.

Ridiculous . The extended stay I stayed at had a kitchen, gym and pool (closed due to Covid in 2020/2021) and it was honestly atrocious. Bed was awful, sketchy people everywhere. Had my one year old with me too, due to being kicked out of our home by her father. Didn’t feel safe at all and it was in a decent area of Cincinnati.I would’ve loved to be able to afford this place.. :(

All the ones i stayed at have a small kitchen full fridge storsge and whst not. There isnt any breakfast, lunch or dinner. (It would be nice though). No gym or pool just rooms. I hope all is well with you guys?

Jah & Jahes love Jen Lauren. Thanks a lot for making this video. I stayed at Extended Stay hotels in Miami many times while we searched for new apartments. And, the best part was the fact that there was a (mini) kitchen. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find one in New York City. The closest that I found is in New Jersey. Do you know why there aren't Extended Stays in New York City? Blessed love.#1804#Ayiti#ToutMounseMoun#AbolishCPS#AbolishPoverty#DefundFosterCare#ProChoice#RawVeganforLife#HR40NOW!#220YearsFREE!
