I use 1 1/2 to 2 to 1 ratio, 2 coats, let it dry really well before using and use a brayer on your cardstock. Works great for me. Love this stuff.

I was looking for Aileen's Tack it Over and Over to use to hold my older Stampin' Up (that I got on Facebook Marketplace) to my Misti. I know I've had some in the past, wasn't thrilled with it, I used it undiluted to the backs of stencils and it stuck my paper so strongly it tore them...and getting it off the stencils was a bear...but hopefully, this will work as intended and I can use my wonderful new stash of stamps to make cards. Waow thanks a lot. I just bought three used 12x24 green matts from a yard sale. And they ain't that sticky. Question. Do i need to put my clear protective layer. Back on after doing this? Thank you.

You do not. Just make sure to keep the mats clear of anything dirty, like the floor. I only put the clear sheets back on if I have to store my mat somewhere where it might stick to something near by, like papers, or ribbons.

Have you tried this glue to make diy post-it notes? Did your 2:1 ratio work for your mats?

I heard about using them for post it notes, and I'm interested in trying, but haven't had a chance yet. As for the 2:1 ratio, I am waiting to give all my mats a really good scrubbing bc I am curious to see if maybe that had something to do with the lightness of the new stickiness.

WHAT A LIFE SAVER! I have like 50 mats and just keep buying new ones.. lol

Omg me too! I rarely throw them away, and so I just have a huge stack of old mats in my closet 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

It would work for that, however, I cannot attest to the longevity of this glue, so you would have to find a sealant or something to ensure it lasted.

Oooh I like that steamer in the back. Is that a vaporizer? Where can I buy it?

Lol it's a humidifier. It was technically meant for babies 😬 but I used it in my old dry, stuff office. That one is this one: www.walmart.com/ip/258274012 However, these days I use this one, and HIGHLY recommend it: amzn.to/3NOyouz

Recommend fully cleaning your old mat, beforehand, also having a higher humidity (steamer/humidifier) will directly affect stickiness.
