How to lose weight fast with no exercise?
In this video I am trying the Sirtfood diet (Adele's weight loss diet) after seeing Adele's amazing 40 lbs weight loss. I gave it a go for 2 weeks, meaning the Phase 1 and 1 week of Phase 2 - the maintenance phase. I was amazed to see the results of this diet, considering I did ZERO exercise. I didn't do anything out of what is shown in here, no weight loss pills, no supplements, no other change other than just this diet.
This video was originally so long, because I was trying to pack all the info and tips into it, but I realized it would get pretty boring for most of you.
I few more tips I wanted to add -
- Remember I am just a guinea pig, I'm a regular person, not a nutritionist or a doctor and this is just a video for your entertainment documenting my personal experience. Your results may be different than mine, if you have any medical issues, please talk to your doctor before trying this.
- The book actually mentions this diet is not recommended for pregnant women, diabetics, children or people with a BMI lower than 18.5 %. This is due to the calorie restriction, however all these groups could benefit greatly from adding the sirtfoods to their diets.

- The recipe for the Green Juice is:
2 large handfuls of kale,
1 large handful or arugula (rocket),
2-3 stalks of celery,
1 small handful of parsley,
Half of green apple,
Juice of half a lemon,
1 inch chopped ginger,
Half a teaspoonful of Green Matcha (added to the first 2 juices of the day in phase 1)
-The sirtfood bites are made out of walnuts, pitted medjool dates, dark chocolate, 1 spoonful of cocoa powder, 1 spoonful of olive oil, 1 spoonful of turmeric, vanilla extract.
Blend in food processor and if not sticky enough add a bit of water (or coffee, or red wine or dark rum.. yes I made that up myself ha!) 'Roll into balls and roll the balls in cocoa powder, chopped walnuts or coconut flakes. Cool in fridge for an hour before eating.
-The 20 Sirt -superfoods are:
• Buckwheat
• Capers
• Celery (as green as possible, eat the leaves, too)
• Chilli (ideally bird's eye or Thai chillies)
• Cocoa/ Dark chocolate (85 per cent or more cocoa solids)
• Coffee (drink it black to get most nutrients)
• Extra virgin olive oil.
• Green tea (ideally matcha, but ceremonial grade is not necessary)
• Kale
• Garlic or lovage (available from garden centres, or buy seeds)
• Medjool dates
• Parsley
• Chicory/ red endive
• Red onion
• Red wine (ideally Pinot Noir, which contains more resveratrol than other grapes)
• Rocket/arugula
• Soy (miso paste)
• Strawberries (cherries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries)
• Turmeric
• Walnuts

    @@saltyyysab7573 Thank you :) It's definitely a bit of a pain to follow the first 3 days for the calorie restriction and in general just to get all the ingredients.

    I would try this diet for the results but it seems expensive and I'm poor 😔 so I won't be trying it. But thank you for the very entertaining and informative video. (I watched the whole thing)

    You’re hysterical. Congrats on the weight loss. That’s a big difference!! Red wine gives me a migraine. My jeans are pretty tight so I’ll keep looking for something. I’m in CA and I’ve never seen buckwheat flakes. Nice work. Great vid.

    I am so proud of you!! I struggle so much with loosing weight and fat and I've been having so much trouble finding a good diet to follow because I need someone to tell me, eat this, don't eat that or do this at this time, in trying to lose 50 lbs that I gained after I got pregnant. She's now 2 and I'm still battling that damn weight.

    Aww, thank you :) I definitely feel it's much harder to lose weight after kids. With my first born who is now almost 8 I also struggled for a really long time, especially because my hormones were so out of balance. I really just had to chew myself through it and stay very consistent for about 6 months before I could finally fit into my old clothes again (and I mean he was 3-4 by then). I had to have everything prepared and planned out or else I would get distracted very easily. As in - every morning I would have oatmeal with fruit, every lunch I would have a wrap with eggs or tuna, every morning I knew today I will do exercises for lower body or for upper body. The first 2 months were the hardest, I kept falling off track, but I just kept getting back on and eventually it sort of became a habit. Aaaand then I got preggo with my second and now third and here we are again -_- But I know we can do it! :)

    You had me laughing all the way through this lol. Your results are amazing & definitely inspiring. I felt the same during Sally like being in a fog & my diet was terrible because of our power being out for 2 1/2 days & I completely got off track with my diet. Idk about this diet, seeing as how it's not very budget friendly but the 1,ooo to maybe 1,300 Cals per day is definitely what I need to get back to.

    I just completed Week 1 as of this morning and I had lost 3.9kg. I'm going to be interested to see what the weight-loss is like over the next 2 weeks. I started jogging today, just 20 minutes but I'll do that probably 4 times this week. You are so right, what a nightmare to find the ingredients. I noticed you used a blender rather than a juice and I have to say it's a lot faster with the juicer. But, as you point out, there is a lot of waste due to that. I also noticed a got a light headache the last 3 days, nothing much but that could have been a reduction in coffee. I've also bought the recipe book and that makes a big difference in finding recipes to suit as I don't eat seafood. My favorite meals for lunch would be the Waldorf salad and Wheatmeal Pita. Congratulations on your great results. You gave me the impetious to make a start on it!

You are right, a juicer would make things much faster and easier, I was just too stingy to get it 😅 You don't need to skip coffee, especially if you get headaches. Coffee is one of the 20 sirtfoods and green matcha has caffeine also. Let me know how your results are in a few weeks 😊

    Great video! I have a question for you. I want to do this diet as well, I have a 7 month old that I am still breastfeeding. My concern is my milk supply dropping if I am only consuming 1000 calories in the first 3 days

    Thank you :) I was also breastfeeding and I pumped and dumped. the first 4-5 days. That is because during the juicing stage your body detoxes and the toxins exit via everything that's coming out of your body including breastmilk. Luckily I had a big stash of milk in the freezer, but if you don't or you don't want to do the formula you could just skip the juicing phase and just do the phase 2, you'd still lose weight, just not as drastically. I pumped a lot, so my supply luckily didn't go down at all, you just have to remember to drink LOTS of water.

    haha love your humor XDD thanks for sharing and it was not boring at all :D but I also think, if you really get your a.. up and eat healthy and make an effort while cooking, you will lose weight like with this diat. But it is more the getting yourself to do it part, which is the hardest XD

    terrific video , even your skin is glowing ! I would like more like some more food list ( no broccoli ) you can heat up your food..no easy food recipe that you've found pretty yummy for instance as we're all busy ..and relatively cheap too ..stuff like that would be welcome :-) I have been eating most of this diet but not al of them..surprised I don't see broccoli and no fruits except for the very expensive red berries..and eat too much raw 100% chocolate and even that with soy milk it made e gain some weight but then I am usually slim ..brain fog is a problem for me too and yet I eat mostly from this list ...damm I will add some dates and will roll them in dark chocolate instead of having organic soy milk..

    Thank you 💖😊 Originally I had so much more info in this video, but it was insanely long and I thought everyone would get bored, so I trimmed it down a lot, but there were some important points that got chopped in the process. 😬 One thing was that the book says that combining the sirtfoods is where the real power comes from and you could chew down a whole field of kale, but wouldn't get the benefit of one small combined meal. So you're meant to squeeze as many of them as you can into one meal. I don't think this diet is really affordable at all, especially if you do the juices and besides salads, everything takes preparation. My 2 favorites were the steak with red wine sauce and the parsley-pesto chicken, but they were not fast to prepare. There are apples in green juice so there's one fruit besides berries (well and the lemon too). There are other sirtfoods, these 20 are just the highest sirtuin-thingy-combos lol. I'll try to copy-paste the other ones in a separate comment.

I used to eat like this or any years except I am vegetarian ..I agree whenever I. used to eat red cabbage with some red berries and parsley at night or kale salade with berries red onions etc..the next day my skin would be incredible

    Just skip it. You don't actually HAVE to use all the 20 sirtfoods, for example I can't do spicy food, so I skipped the chili peppers.

    i am trying the diet, i dnt know i love the green juice, and the meals are delivious, first 3 days are really hard but if you wana try just meal prep before hand. i was hungry but a cup of black coffee and green tea was enough

    Ugh, spending all day cooking different things for myself and family was one of the main reasons I quit the sirtfood diet 😑 I still add sirtfoods to my foods whenever I can though.

    Thank you 😊 and YES I was and am still breastfeeding. I actually pumped and dumped for the first 4 days and fed her the frozen batch because I was worried my body would be detoxifying and my baby would drink up the toxins 😬

    FIVE MONTHS???!!! Sis. That is not long at all. Now if you said 5 years okay. It might be time to get into a work out and wellness plan. I really hate that women put this type of timeline on themselves to lose weight. You didn't gain the baby weight in 5 months so why should you expect to be at your pre-baby weight in 5 months?

    @@Luneyland Same. But who cares? I went on WW with two friends that had babies. They hit their weight loss goals way before I did. My grandmother had 14 kids, no stretchmarks and I'm bigger than she is. I don't let things like that define my life and neither should you! Once you stop comparing yourself to others life will be grand. It took me a while to cultivate that narrative, but once I did I was free. Plus we all know we are our own worst enemy. Don't need any outside assistance making me feel any worse about my stomach pooch or back fat. Hahaha!! I do just fine critiquing myself.
