I loved the idea of Doctor. Everyone respected him, as an neutral character. Nobody tried to kill him, and like a shadow for the first two hours he was invisible

That was some serious crazy fun! It wasnt shown but after being released as a hostage in Wood's base I became the mall's gravekeeper, made a grave for Nitro even! All I wanted to do was bury my boy Henry! This was such an epic event and OH the roleplay was estatic, what a rollercoaster! Good luck to those in the main event

It was great but it really needed more incentives. It is very difficult for players to participate in PVP and even some events if they do not have a compelling reason to do so. Putting in limited resources, hordes of zombies with some frequency, fires, preset factions, etc., would have helped.

These events look fun, but what would make them better in my opinion is not having a death broadcasted to the entire server in the chat. Isn't there a setting to do that?

At the least don't broadcast who killed who. Can't get away with stealth kills if the whole server is notified you killed somebody.

RIP Jacob. Anybody have the twitch link? I think the mall size was good but the ring should be a little larger so players could expand or pull zombies from more locations. Maybe block off the roof initially at the start. Sniping from the skylights was awesome but sky starting up there gave them a safe zone the rest of the clans didn't have from day one. Sky wouldn't of had as much leverage if the roof access didn't exist. Start all 100 in the parking lot, ground level. More diplomacy would of ensued. Also the overall zombie pop felt a bit low. I would expect with all the noise and activity from 100 players, zombies on ground level should be a constant challenge. Also, second best mvp character goes to Doktor after Jacob. The enclosing circle felt a little lame like pubg. There are better ways to end a server than an artificial play zone. Just set food or water air drop ins. Eventually there won't be enough food or water for all the players and the clans will turn on each other or die.

in a longer event it would be funny if one group went to all the places people didnt go at the start, and grabbed all the food and stuffed it all in like a hidden place like a bunch of big rats

I have an idea. Fill up Rosewood. Each house can have 2-3 person families. Give people jobs & responsibilities. The town has no zombies, but there's insane pop outside city limits, and there's only a weeks supply in town at best. You can also introduce mods like poison gas or proximity infection.

loved this and the "100 players rebuild civilization" video. If you could get out a stream like this weekly that would be amazing, having a cut version would also be cool! but i get that is a lot of work! Looking forward to more streams like this!

Definitely use the Xonics mall next run. It's more suited to factional territory wars, and there isn't a single loot point for each type of enemy.

a suggestion, maybe a small modded map like grapeseed, blackwood or chestown (especially blackwood) would be great for the next event, putting it inside a mall seems unbalanced for starting resources

Once the population reaches a certain number (so lag isn't a problem) hordes should be regularly introduced every 10 minutes. would also be cool to have lots of zombies with good drops on them to encourage hunting and discourage turtling. (also, halfway through the event, set the roof on fire)

It’s also refreshing to hear someone Welsh in these vids, being a Welshman it’s nice to hear a fellow countryman in cool content like this, even when he gets confused for a Frenchman😂

This was very enjoyable to watch live.

I think the mall area would be cool, with notable inclusions being the race track, movie theatre, and maybe a small neighborhood. Would still keep the mall fairly active, but give them some other options. I dunno, thats just me though. Cool video, watched the whole thing for the most part while I was gaming.

The balancing for the actual event could simply be to have a hoard on the roof from the start. That way, if they want to gain access to the skylights, they will need to invest a lot of time and resources to clearing the zombies.

I'd love to watch a video where you are in a server like this but you are role playing as a reporter. going around and earing people story and stuff, cool be fun to watch

the area might not be too small for people to spread out. but there is way too much happening at once in such a small area. like we need 7 povs to see everything at once

It was a good video, and I know we don't have different PoV like we had on the other video. For a 4 day event though I'm worried it might be too small, specially considering how nothing could happen without being interrupted by the chaos of random people showing up or something else happening close by, it might get tiring or end up cutting too many interactions in the full event. But anything could happen really, guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'd remove the roof just so you can do a raining zombies event. Spawn them near the skylights and let the pour in. It would also balance the game. Sky's strat was too good it's gonna be reattempted and that's boring. Another fun event would be dead players coming back as rooftop snipers for a limited time. It would make the main thoroughfares feel unsafe and make interactions more interesting if people felt danger was coming at anytime.

RIP Jacob, you will be sorely missed.
