"The strenght I hold, I cannot claim all credit for. Every generation of strenght pushed the next. Their is a homage owed to those who inspired us" This is probably the most beautiful thing I heard from strongman. Sounds like it is straight from an antic philosopher text.

People keep saying that if Brian can win his 5th, he will be the greatest... people keep saying if Tom can win a couple more and the Arnold's, he will go down as the greatest... to them I say, Look at that man's trophy room!! Big Z is the greatest because he has not only won the biggest shows multiple times, but most of the littler shows as well. The only contests he has not won are the ones that got started after his semi-retirment or was not invited too. I LOVE all Strongmen! I love this sport! And I cheer for everyone. But Biz Z is Big Z. The greatest ever!

@jesswalton6094

@@guanjun1178 I think a lot of that stemmed from Brian's wife, Kerry. She was formerly married to another strongman who had passed away, and I think Big Z was close buddies with him. I can't say with 100% certainty but I recall reading something along those lines a year or so back on a reddit thread. I think some of the beef came from that, and them being top competitors probably is what brought it over to a boil.
"The gym is soo far, like ten minute" ~Big Z
there is something extremely graceful about lifting with silence
Big Z's trophy room puts every other strongman's to shame. It's not even close.
Just love to see Big Z, chill relax and calm ... and no sense of big ego regardless to the big achievements he had in the strength games. totally a principle

Besides Brian, he may be the most "set-up" Strongman post-career. Eddie's up there, Thor's got some things going on, and Mariusz is still living his life in the trucking business. I knew about his place, but he's a serious figure in his country.

@7:28 - Big Z casually mentioning he has something like 250 trophies & it being difficult to remember all the trophies.
If big Z became a strongman coach, it would be the most legendary line of strongmen ever
The fact big zs first name was brian without even bli king says so much about the battles an respect they have for each other

Both Brian Shaw and JF deadlifted 1k lbs or 456kg in a video in like 2018 or 2019 in training, Brian has yet to officially deadlift that in a competition with normal weights no elephant bar deadlift hummer tire, etc

Heaviest competition Super Yoke was at the Arnold's, and it was 1565 lbs. Brian had the fastest time, and I think Brian and Thor may be the only ones to complete it, maybe Mateusz as well. Dude's a freak with heavy yoke.
