Yeah friend of mine experienced this, working on his car when the disk shattered and cut open his arm through his leather jacket nearly missing his muscle, rushed him to the hospital after where they still had to pick out little pieces of composite from the wound.

Grinding discs are literally made for that. A cutting disc is not meant to be used like that though.

@@jostin4041 it doesn't weigh anywhere close to 100lbs what are you on about? They weight about 40lbs (via Apples spec sheet), or 18kg. I've also help move Apple Mac Pros into my office's video lab and they can be easily moved by literally everyone. Especially with the handles that come standard on them. $700 wheels are not only ridiculous but completely unnecessary, even $50 would be too much to spend just to move these things around.

Our metal shop teacher let us all make weapons, I made a slingshot with a wrist brace, a friend made a spear gun and someone else made a crossbow that shot bolts of dowel. We were the last class to ever get to do it lol.

an idea after seeing a couple of these apple wheels builds: go to a machine shop and have them custom drill the holes to your desired hardware specs. it's not that hard if you have the tools.
