Our 98 Zj 4.0 has 410k miles on its original drive train.. My mom has had it since 2000 with 20k miles.. this includes the 42re... Maintenance is all ive done.. and a timing chain at 220k. Tranny change every 30k.. oil every 5-7k.. coolant change evrry now and then. It did blow a hose recently at 380k and overheat till it was steaming.. and shut itself off. (The pcm has an auto shut off) but 30k miles later still going. Just had to the CPS a 2nd time in its life. Put a mopar one in though.. the cheapo after market ones suck My 5.9 ZJ limited has 220k on it now. Im more of a FSJ fan though. My wagoneer and j10 are the ajeeps i mainly work on. I should probly put some love into my 5.9 ZJ though.. it needs a new headliner. New dash pad.. and the cat rattles now. Probly should wash the paint more often too i noticed its getting rough with me never washing it. Havent even cleaned the inside since i moved 2 years ago. Drivers seat track broke and needs welded. Ya for such a nice Jeep the 5.9 is i dont take care of it like i should. I think my least fav Jeeps are wranglers of any kind including cjs.. and i dont like Xjs either.. but its mainly because they too small inside

Dex, Thank you for sharing your "hobby" with Jeeps. I am an avid fan of your videos. I have a smaller fleet of 5 Jeeps, I noticed you typically stop at or around the 2004 model years. Mine are 2004 and younger. Is that intentional? I am appreciative of your real world approach to working on your rigs. Even though you have advanced to having your own MANS garage and turned it all into a business - it gives me more confidence to work on those next level projects. Again, thank you! Last thought, I have a 96 ZJ & 04 WJ Overland, how do you approach the frames on these Jeeps? I wonder how you would approach a Grand from the Cleveland, Ohio (rust belt/salt exposure) if you wanted to reinforce/repair a frame that might have some rust exposure. Thanks for all you do! Congrats and keep it coming! - Rich

Where to start? Really enjoy your videos. First video I saw of yours was i believe a short showing myltiple engine- vehicle configurations and I was intrigued by your ingenuity. I even left a comment that was so contradictory of what your video was even about, hoping to start some kind of controversy so as to build more comments. Nope. I think the last time I looked it may have had 14 comments. So this is a different approach. Love your content. As far as Jeep's go, the unibody design of the later model Wagoneers and Cherokees, for whatever reason, seem to work the best in stock form, than any of it's predecessors. Just my opinion there. Lock the diffs and total amazement will follow. Keep up the work. I believe you will grow rather rapidly from this point forward. Don't let it go to your head! You're doing a fine job. Get ready for the ride.

Please, try to improve on your camera shifting technique. I practically get motion sickness watching your videos. Also, when you are trying to convey some insight you've gained over many years/many 4.0Ls, please review your videos from the perspective of someone, who, unlike you doesn't know what you know. After watching several of your videos, it almost seems to me like you are explaining concepts/insight so rushed, and superficial you assume you are speaking to an audience who are just as much of an expert as you are. Or, it's as if you are merely reminding yourself, rather than your viewers, who (more than likely) need a slower, more detailed explanation, perhaps w/the hows/why, and even examples.
