I love how John loves for his family just to be happy and content. When Shannon is stressed he packs up her board, when Nicky is upset he does whatever he can to make sure hes happy. Nick James seems so much happier since being out of school. Can can see the love this family has for one another. Hope you did well on your test Johnny. I'm so proud of you!!

It's an adventure every day, and you are all on the right path. ✅️ Keep loving and living!😊 Of course, he recognizes what you are feeling. He is extra sensitive to your mood because he is constantly observing and noticing changes in the world around him. Probably more than most people because he can't say what he sees or feels. I would continue to reinforce that everyone has feelings and his are valid. Maybe use what we do at school and restate what you are feeling such as... you seem angry because we are busy and not talking to you. It's okay to be angry. We will come play in 5 mins. Just a thought.

I like how you show Nicky at LA Fitness. Are there certain conditions or times of the day you take him so that he can self regulate more easily? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this so that we can consider and apply them to help formulate our own strategies for our guy. Winter definitely sucks and we’re all anxious.
