Use some type of cooking or massage oil to release whatever’s trapped quickly and painlessly. These traps are effective especially for spiders.

Yea those spiders really looked like they needed out. Glad they're free now. I did get bit by a weird black one with an hourglass shape though.

It's the worst kind of mousetrap, it's true. But, come on, on you it wasn't that much of a pain. For sure not as much as you couldn't "keep your camera straight". :/

I have a mouse problem in my house, I have used the Victor tin cat live catch trap, then the version with a clear lid, and the Victor tip trap, and quite a few of my own traps I have made from legos. The problem is, the mice outsmarted the Victor tin cat. They go in, take the food, and go back out. It worked at first, but now they are too smart. I'm trying to convince my parents to get the catch-all mouse trap. I just wanted to say that the mice definitely are ADORABLE :p I have rodents as pets, which is why we have to use live catch traps (partly in case one of my pets gets loose) and because I love them. A few weeks ago I actually caught a pregnant mouse by hand and it was adorable. Anyway sorry for ranting :3 I just want to say that you showed me what traps are good and which aren't good. Thank you!

spread lightly oiled paper towel in the guey area so he does not struggle and get more entrapped lightly oil the stuck portion of fur and use a Q-tip to work the oil the areas he is stuck in and you will have success -you are right nothing deserves to be tortured rodents are looking for exactly what we need food shelter and food & water -we want to deter them from living in our area as they really need to remain free of us too

These traps have very little going for them... Single-use, and ineffective, inhumane, and indiscriminate. It only took one catch for our family to swear them off years ago.

They are not single use. A single A4 size trap can catch several at a time. The only drawback is you have to check them often and bash heads in or bb gun to the head or let the dog kill it. Never let it stay stuck and die slowly.

@@thunderwolf4237 Because _I have done it_ and it is a miserable experience for everyone. My experience is that oil is not particularly effective-you free a bit, and more gets stuck again, and by the end you just have a sad, exhausted, oil-soaked mouse.

@@Pipsterz I have been inadvertently caught by this hanging greenhouse traps that catch gnats & thrips... and have to cut my hair..I don't use them any more. I got one stuck to my shoe once and it was so difficult to remove, and the insect ones are very thinly coated. Very inhumane.

Glue traps are the best I suggest you add a little bait in the center of the trap plus duck tape the trap down firmly so the mouse can't escape Sometimes the mice are only parsley stuck in the glue trap and can chew away at the paper and escape.

This makes no sense, you’ll literally sit here and say use kill traps, over these yet I’ve seen tons of videos where the mouse was set free from the glue trap with some veg oil and it went about its merry day. Maybe instead of spouting off your mouth, you provide better info.
