It's crazy how the kitten was so scared and defensive at first, and then finally just accepts people bathing him like he's been handled by humans his whole life. It's like he finally realized they were there to help. So precious

I'm sorry but I feel like people care about animals way more than humans these days. It actually breaks my heart that people will walk right passed a homeless war vet on the streets to go rescue a stray cat and pay vet bills and all that. I wish we could clean up this world for our fellow humans and animals in need💔 I wish we could change the mess from the past and fix our future

It's because of this very kind of accident that glue trap are considered "cruel traps", even for mouse extermination. The mouses get stuck on it and agonize for hours before dying of exhaustion. what a cute kitty!

Bee Dear 7 minutes ago (edited) use vegetable oil. I've caught mice before with glue traps and took the mice outside. I poured vegetable oil where the mouse was stuck and it freed it. I've done that several times. The mice run away. Apply the oil just where it mouse is stuck, just enough to free it. Don't pour too much oil.

My Cat was also stucked in rat stick trap. By seeing this video we used olivee oil and warm water to remove bond from our cat... And there was no need to shave her and no problem to skin....... Thank you..... Thank you 🙏 so much...... You saved our cats Life. ❤

I love how we'd don't hear any complaints as they bathe him 🥹 so clear he was exhausted, and had not fight left. But he wasn't crying as they removed the glue.

@@rafaelroales4751 you wouldn't believe the tiny cracks, wholes and cravices they fit through. We have a farm and cats love to use our barns for a nursery. Sometimes we see the kittens once the emerge from there, sometimes we stumble over them in the weirdest places.

@@rafaelroales4751 a building is a building to them. Just a snug dark corner away from people. My guess is she probably was chased away multiple times before she ended up there. Would explain her hostile reaction to the rescuers and why she ran instead of going back to her kitten.

I have so much respect for these workers...it was not an easy task, and they could easily abandon the cat to die up there, just put loud music and pretend they didn't hear anything. But they didn't do that, they choose to act and help th poor scared and hungry kitty. Bless your souls, everyone. 💖💖💖

Lina Rotar Pausic....she was, and although not reunited with her kitten but about 3 weeks I'm happy to say they have BOTH been adopted to their forever homes. Kitten to a family of 4 with 2 children....mom to a single mother with a 6 year old !!!!

The kitty can eat on her own though, she’s old enough to not need her mama anymore. I just hope the mama and other babies are rescued for their own well-being but if they’re feral, it’s unlikely.

@@jexotic1470 They raise them because It's in their instinct, not because they find sentimental vallue in seeing their offspring grow up, make their first steps or ride bike for the first time, lol. Also, animals in general grow apart and start to banish their kids away at a certain part of their growth (because their mother instinct wears off) , so yeah, that mother cat didn't care, or at least not in the way implied. At most, she went and made herself new babies.

@@jexotic1470 Not the same way humans do. Don't be tempted to anthropomorphize them. By 8 - 10 weeks the kittens are weened and don't need her for food. In fact she will actively deny them milk to encourage this. By about 12 weeks mother cats actively encourage their kittens to find their own places. If in a house with enough room and ample attention from humans, the mother cat will often accept the kittens as housemates, but will not think of them or treat them as her children any more. Mother cats that get pregnant a second time often will seek a new place to live that is not as crowded, even if they love their human family. Sometimes, after a trauma, a mother cat can find it difficult to let go of her kittens. Like if she lost a liter to an accident or something, she may cling to the next liter. This is not the normal behavior though.

Don't use sticky traps! They're incredibly cruel. Imagine that kitten stuck there for hours and even days dying and agonizing slowly of hunger and dehydration. Even mice feel that.

Sticky glue traps are typically used by people who don't want to use spring loaded mouse traps that kill or severely injure the mice because of the cruelty that involves. Most of the time, the people who set glue traps check them regularly and if a mouse is found in one, they will take it to a place where they can release the mouse (using oil) into a better place than the home they are found in...

If you wanna get rid of mice, there's tons of traps on the market that are more effective, more humane, and less costly than glue traps are. Glue traps are awful, no matter what way you look at them.
