I love the FG Marder ⛽️😀 ! I have the 30th anniversary version (no 150/300) 👍 yeah, FG started selling it 30 years ago 😮 ! Several videos of it on my channel (running, upgrades,…); if you want to have a look Haggar 😃 BTW, the beetle body is very nice 👍 unfortunately FG is no longer selling it. Looking forward seeing your next Marder videos 👍⛽️👍

Enjoy mate, the one I miss the most was the HPI Baja 5B.. it was indestructible compared to the tamiya Mondeo's, Kyosho D2 Mercs and BearHawks I used to have! Cost me a fortune to buy new and even more to upgrade, something like 15 years ago give or take...Sold it because I was in a pinch a few years later and wish I never did! Can't wait to see you blast it!

It's not a crush, but he is a nice guy , he helped me with advice on a savage I was putting together, so I helped him with a good deal on one of my fg cars , I would not of sold it but I know he will look after it , I'm fixing up another 2 speed marder right now and I have a couple in bits including a 4×4 marder so when he asked me if i would sell him one I thought why not , so that's the story , stay safe mate 👍

Hello from The US. I live in North Carolina. What do you still need for the buggy you are building for your buddy?. I enjoy your channel. I just pulled out my 2 Sportwerks Mayhem buggies from the early 2000s. I put them away cause of family and now the kids are gone. Time to play lol. I have to buy new Remotes and receivers. All of my RCs have the old Mhz transmitters lol. I bought a $300usd JR crystaless remote a few months before I put them away. I was hearing they were moving to the 2.4Ghz cause they needed the frequencies for broadband and such. But 20 something years later I am getting back into nitros and I have a early Traxxas Bandit that had the mechanical speed controller lol. It doesn't anymore lol. I put a ESC on her long ago.

Alright mate, I have most things now for that buggy build. Broadband isn’t on 27Mhz, that’s only CB radio these days. We use 27Mhz for RC here still without issues. Actually less issues than 20 years ago lol.

@@HaggardRC That's cool. I was sure if you could still use the old Mhz transmitters anymore. I heard so many different reasons for the change. Everything from broadband to the military way going to use those frequencies. I have no idea lol. I'm going to try my Brand new old JR crystaless transmitter before I buy a new one. I'll still eventually buy a new one. I think this one was channel 1 to 50 or 51 to 99. I can't remember. I need to go to the shed and have a peak. Lol. I really enjoy your videos brother.

Hello I live in the US 🇺🇸. I have 4 Nitro rc cars. I have one that is no longer made it is the 4 wheeler an is chain driven. I have everything even the box it came in when I bought it new. I have a Traxxas x max nitro I rebuilt everything on it tires wheels axles A-Arms upper an lower. I have a new Raptor body painted an another Traxxas x-max an another nitro one. All run like new. Have lots of parts motors an here in the US no one buys them. I am 60 years old now the 2 Traxxas x-max is elc start. I have like 7 battery Traxxas 10 Scale. All like new 3s. Rock climbers. I was i could make a package deal buy all at one time. One of my rock climber has air up tires an have 2 pumps. I even have a lot of drones for sale. I alway love the bigger 2 cycle rc buggys.

Join the club boomer im same age and presently about 100 cars buggies trucks boats mostly kyosho mugen ofna hyper 10 haboa but some cen mini madness losi, associated ,hsp tamiya ecx mad torque traxxxas arrma all electric so i know your sickness well what can ya do ? Im down with the sickness

perfect person to ask! i have a nitro engine but the pull cord wont grip, replaced the one way bearing and clutch but it still doesnt seem to compress, any ideas?

Check the head bolts and make sure it’s sealing. Check the glow plug is tight and not leaking around that. Go from there 🤘🏻👍🏻 Question, does the engine actually turn over when you pull the pull start?

@@HaggardRC i think i have, ive tried it both ways and it does nothing, but when i add pressure and put on the shaft and then spin the one way bearing it works

Can help please. I’ve just bought my first nitro after years of electric. Want to lengthen the fuel line( if you recommend to stop it cutting out when it flips ) but manual says it’s 2.4 mm bore. But can only find 2.8 mm online. Will this be ok Geoff

Reason why it's in good shape because it's a hassle to use no place to use it and it's messy and boring. Are you going to do get it dirty break it and clean it and fix it… Then there's no parts it's back to in the box

There are loads of parts, FG still make this car and all the parts 😁 Where I live there are loads of open fields, parks etc… as for messy.. no one cares about that lol

@@HaggardRC You're the lucky one… I have a Rustler VXL And it was expensive and I don't even use it… Good luck at least it's big So it can travel over some rough ground.My 60 mile an hour tracks is no place to use it
