Wasn’t the ancient cities made by the pillagers, I feel like the lore would of been cooler if they made the wardens to protect their ancient cities for years and years while they go ‘pillage’ villagers

Props to not only surviving the full 24 hours and defeating not one but two Wardens, but going beyond and fixing up the city as well.

This is probably my favourite video on KZread. The amount of work put into this to make it funny, witty and just plain amazing must have been a lot. Simply superb, great job Rek!

RekRap and Branzy are just the right combination of chaos and wholesomeness

Fun fact: did you know that wardens have the ability to make an extremely strong sonic boom if you have been spotted and now tracked on his radius now attempting to hide or get to a high place for 30 or more seconds. The ability even bypasses through armor dealing 10+ damage. Only way to counter the damage is through enchantment.

I haven't been feeling it with too many newer popular Minecraft videos, (a lot of them feel pretty empty) but this video was great! I remember seeing your snapshot video which is funnily enough a more recent upload. Lookin forward to watching more of your vids. They're really fun!

not only did he survive in hardcore for 24 hours, he restored a city, killed 2 wardens ALONE, and within a world filled with sculk. absolute legend

This entire time I was wondering why the warden never did the sonic attack, then i remembered this is a snapshot so it wasn't added yet. This challenge would be nigh-impossible with the new warden because you can't hide without dying.

The sonic boom attack has a range of about 15 blocks, so hiding in a 15 block-long hole with a bow and enough arrows would do the job.

well hello there

For context as to how strong the Warden truly is, I put one of them in a bedrock box (so that they withers can’t just fly away) with 4 withers, and it killed all of them. Then, I went into bedrock, where wither deal more damage, move around more, and have double the hp, and it killed 2 of the 3 I summoned, with the final one surviving on a sliver of health. Safe to say, this thing’s pretty strong

Just found the deep dark in my survival world. It is absolutely chilling when I'm in legit survival.

Something really cool but annoying they could add to the voice chat mod is that you have to whisper in order for the sculk sensors not to hear you

If anyone is interested, the answer to why the shrieker didn't work after it was placed back down is because of NBT data.

This video made my nostalgia in minecraft spike so much, I feel that now I have less fun like this in minecraft where it is quite chaotic which I find very fun and enjoyable, so overall great video as always :)

Everybody, including me, hated on the warden and ancient city at first but now, I appreciate the new challenge that it has given us. When I was running from it with my friends, I quite literally got a notification from my watch saying my heart rate was high. The fear and excitement it gives me is so refreshing and reminds me of when I first started playing the game.
