This is madness! Many years ago I bought a 2006 M3 Interlagos Blue Competition w 90k miles. While not as special as this one, I only paid $18k. Car drives amazingly well and has been ultra fun and reliable. It’s a never sell.

Short trips and not letting the s54 properly warm up and heat cycle are exactly what cause these engines to spin rod bearings. But then again, I'm sure if he paid over 100k for an e46 he can afford another 1k to do the rod bearings

Honestly a classic. My late Dad actually had this car with a black interior, and this video brought back a lot of memories. We got snowed in at the Grand Canyon and had an awesome time. Hope you get to enjoy this and create as memories with family and friends.

This car is an absolute blast to drive and in 10 years time will probably be one of the most sought after classic cars up there with some of the Porsche models from it's era. It's both beautiful and has enough power. It's a true all rounder.

Congratz bro! I currently own a PRISTINE 2002 LSB M3 Convertible SMG with less than 70k miles. Garage kept for over 10+ years and rarely see's the sun, I put maybe less than 1k miles a year on it. Seeing this auction and this video brought so much joy to me as it gave me some sense to what my car, could be worth if I ever wanted to sell it on BAT. Maybe sometime in the future. Enjoy my friend! Back in 2019 I was in high school and I remember wanting this car so badly in a manual and back then very good example were 56K it’s crazy how appreciated these cars have come now. This spec is Gorgeous. The constant gear 22 is too funny in the video

That’s because this is a collectible. This is the only one in this spec in the country. It’s THE e46 and I imagine someone else will always pay $100k at least to own it. I know as a car it’s not worth it, but as a collectible it is.

@@mikolizazi you need to upgrade the sway bars front and rear, to stiffer ones, get a set of high quality coilovers, I don’t know if the 330c comes with a 3 point brace, if not get an upgraded one, get multiple braces all front and rear to stiffen the whole body, and reduces body flex to same level as a coupe, it would probably would have less body flex than a e46 stock coupe

I know its very tempting to daily, but with the very thick 10w60 these cars run the first cold miles are very harsh on the bearings, so only doing short drives can be damaging, just something to take into consideration

@@MiamiMilesCongrats! you have to drive it a few more miles to bring oil temp up to 210 …I would do a few “laps” in mine even if I was just going down to the grocery store. My other “unpopular” suggestion is try an oil that comes up to temp faster….in my case it was Total 10W60 …but it ran slightly over 210 during the summer.

Unfortunately the cast iron block means the oil takes a while to get up to temp, 3 miles to work wont be enough to get it over 200F and be able to wind it out.....Looks like you'll be taking the long way to work every day ;)

in cameras whether video or pictures it looks like this amazing shade of blue. But in person to the naked eye it has way more of a green tint to it giving it a greenish blue look. Result is everytime I see an LSB car on youtube I love it and think it's amazing. Then I see one locally in person and its not for me. Interlagos is a better e46 blue imo.
