@Danny Francis I just have a passion for this and feel the camera is my greatest weapon. I left everything I had in Ukraine and took just 2 clothes, my camera and laptop because I know with my camera and laptop I have what it takes to build everything back up. It might not be easy but where there is a will, there's a way.

Hello, I personally didn’t experience any form of racism at the border. The only challenge I had which I explained in the video was when I was boarding the train from Lviv to Poland and couldn’t get on cos the police insisted women and children first. But I was fortunate and found an empty cabin. Other than that, everything was great. Ukrainians aren’t racists. A small percentage of the “bad” people doesn’t describe the true beauty of Ukraine!)

@@SaveTheNations thank you for your response. I'm concerned that media is only focusing on the negative and many in the US and Caribbean are now supporting the invasion because of this. I believe that many problems at the border were misunderstanding, but because I am "white" I'm told I am denying racism or that I am agreeing with racism. It's a no win situation.

@@waitaminute2015 I understand where you're coming from but believe me when I say there are a lot more good people in Ukraine. You can see it through several videos on my channel.

This is a much needed prospective and all credit to you an exceptional human being you really are. However it is ultimately up to the Ukrainian people themselves to speak out like you have against the discrimination which is going on within Russia and the Ukraine. The news media has the truth but are not giving a balanced view as in showing the racist actions of the Ukrainian people against Africans and Indians. I would like to see you and other countrymen, women, & children from Africa, India, Poland, standing together with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denouncing the racist actions by many Ukrainians . Then call for all nations to come together and stop the Russian onslaught. Many Russians don't want this madness to continue. Stay safe Mr Mayowa, and lets stop this war created by President Putin he must not be allowed to use chemicals on women and children.

@@SaveTheNations No doubt, but they are not speaking up for themselves denouncing those who harbour lethal thoughts and will carryout abhorrent acts of violence against African's and other people of colour. We need to hear the Ukrainian people speaking out against those who have such hatred in their hearts. Lets not detract away from what your portrayal of Ukrainian life has been like. However yours is a unique perspective compared to many who do not agree with you and are living in the Ukraine.

While such a strategy is beneficial to the individual, it is detrimental to the greater good. On the one hand, Joseph is a positive and talented young man; on the other hand, there is no need to play down the facts or deny the reality for others.

@@MsMaasi Your just the kind of person with a the warped mindset I have been looking for. According to your statement here, Ukrainian needs are superior to everyone else's right? Pushing Africans and Indians of trains so certain Ukrainians get out first so they do not get injured first is all that matters right? Segregating people based on their colour is right? Ukrainians on buses first Africans can walk is ok why? Maasi think before you write inflammatory comments and if your in the Ukraine right now post positive videos of Ukrainians helping all ethnic people as one of their own that's a god starting point for you.
