So many jobs are like “you know, here at Costco we are like a family” just to make you feel pressured into dealing with whatever crap they put you through and trying to make you see it as ok, so Anthony as their boss saying “I don’t wanna say we are like a family” says so much about how much he actually cares about his co-workers, it makes me so happy to see

I know its not always an easy thing to praise people but its so important. I hope ian finds a way to express his feelings better than hes been able to before now. I know he loves and values courtney but for her to feel so undervalued so long says he didnt find ways to express it in ways she was able to accept. Im not even trying to criticise him, im sure its something he dislikes about himself as well. I just hope hes better able to do it and maybe you coming back can help him. Sorry im feeling all mushy. Courtney, as someone who started watching smosh in 2018, I can't imagine smosh without you. I know that I'm just a random person on the internet, but truly for me you are one of the main reasons I kept watching all these years and I saw you become so much more comfortable with yourself and I see how talented and effortlessly funny you are! I hope you're really proud of the things you achieved and contributed to the channel! Also, watching the trailer for the funeral roast has really blown me away (it's probably why I bought tickets to the show which I normally never do). I remember thinking this is just on another level of greatness. I think smosh has never been better than it is now (I'm not alone in saying that) and I believe you're one of the reasons why!

Seems like Courtney got shutdown in a vulnerable and impressionable time in her life (being told to know her place and shut up when trying to give fresh ideas in meetings when she was early 20s) and it took near a decade to shake that off. Glad she is in a better place and has the ability to trust herself before she turns 30. I didn’t get there until 34.

One of the things i REALLY respect about smosh (and dropout, as an unrelated plug) is that (esp in their more recent like 2020 onwards stuff) it really seems like there is a sense of respect and comfort and support and CONSENT that is unfortunately lacking in a lot of other comedy environments I've seen. You can really tell that people trust and care about each other and there is a mutual respect for their on- and off-camera staff that you can FEEL as a viewer.
