"I Sold My Properties To Produce 'JAGUN JAGUN'- Femi Adebayo Reveals [VIDEO]

When considering the number of Nigerian movies that are released each year, it's difficult to fail to see a trend. It is in the sense that, out of the hundreds of films presented each year, one consistently establishes itself as a strong candidate for the title of greatest film of the year. A movie of this caliber excels in storytelling, in addition to having superb casting and production design.
Even though it seems premature to bestow such praise on a movie in 2023, Jagun Jagun unquestionably meets most of the criteria for a successful Nollywood production.
Jagun Jagun, a film made by Femi Adebayo, depicts the tale of Ogunjimi, a warrior who is feared both within and outside of his village. The presence of a young guy, however, exposes his vulnerabilities as he worries that his position of control would be overthrown shortly.
The Jagun Jagun teaser and trailer were sufficient to elicit praise and enthusiasm across the nation. The tremendous action experience would keep spectators on the edge of their seats. It's reasonable to assume that the movie delivers to some level based on the fact that it ranks first on Netflix Nigeria's trending list and fourth on Netflix UK's trending list.

I am a Nigerian American. A friend made me watch Anikulapo about a month ago so my Netflix started suggesting similar movies to me. I thought Anikulapo was the best Yoruba epic movie ever made but Jagun Jagun made Anikulapo nothing. Congrats Femi Adebayo and your dad must be very proud.

Jagun Jagun is a great movie. I will appreciate it if Nollywood can improve further on visual effects, arts and culture presentation of traditional pottery and wares, paintings and sculptures, better costumes & weapons for warriors, more horses, more choreographed fight scenes. That flute sound in Gbotijas first scene is so pleasing to hear in Yoruba movies but it didn't last long. The sound can have variations to fit different dramatic scenes. Collaboration with Nigerian music studios for better sound FX will be awesome. Finally, let's have more traditional movies/series focusing on fishermen, drummers, woodcarvers, masquerades, hunters..Or on Yoruba folklores or books i.e Olurounbi, Ogboju Ode ninu Igbo irumole, Kudos to you and your entire team.

Jagun jagun was amazing and i want to say a big kudos to the Producer, Femi Adebayo, More grease to your elbow, sir. I would like to suggest that there should always be a medical team on ground for emergency cases in this type big project. For instance,i wasn't too pleased about what i saw on Instagram about Lateef's treatment when he broke his leg. I didn't see a single medical personnel on ground, his leg seemed to be treated the traditional. I feel putting a medical team in place will help in ensuring a prompt, effective and safe care to any of the crew members who might need medical attention. Thank you as you put this into consideration

Barr. Femi & his brother started acting as toddlers. He was part of advertisement of "MILO" in the early 80s. However, Femi Adebayo & his brother were my House C mates & junior back then in secondary school. He is just a humble lucky chap. ....Sugar.
