  Baba Jide ,you do not have the right information stop misrepresenting facts. The National Assembly can extend the tenure of Tinibu beyond 29th May,2029 by one year. Tell me where in Constitutional democracy where Law are passed or Amended to take retroactive effect. LGA Chairmen were elected based on 2018 Local Government Law of Rivers State that stipulate tenure of 3years from the date of taking oath of office. Certificate of Return issued to them after winning election started 3years. Four months to Expiration of their tenure a few Committee of friends will sit Somewhere and say they have amended Law to extend their tenure. If you say,it is ok,tell National Assembly to amend the Law to allow all our Governors and the President to Amend the Constitution for Tinibu and Governors to spend another year after ,after 29th May ,2027 Local Government is not the cause of the Political Crises ,the cause of the crises is one trying to be Governor by proxy ,he wants to control all the treasury of the State and instruments of Power after leaving office as Governor.
