I sold my OpenAI GPT Website for $30,000
Ғылым және технология
This last year I designed and developed a Website using React and AI as a SaaS from scratch in just a month, and now I've sold it. I was able to make just over $30,000 from the whole experience! This video was also sponsored by APILayer, check them out below!
⭐ Try the OpenAI Template - Starter Kit I've made ⭐

This is new and ready for those looking to kickstart their own app or website using the OpenAI GPT models. I've built it on MERN it should save you over 100 hours if you want to build or test your own ideas! This also supports the channel if you have found these videos of benefit!

For those following along, I build Enhance AI not long ago which went live at enhaneai.ai. The website used OpenAI together with GPT3 to perform code completion and other features like blogging for developers. As a programmer, this was my first proper successful software as a service, and I was able to get heaps of people signed up and using it. I coded it using react, MongoDB, NodeJs, HTML, CSS, JS and lots more. As part of the software development, (which require lots of javascript to work in the end! haha) I found the blogging aspect was the most successful. However additional effort didn't yield better results.
@SimonHoiberg recommended I check out microaquire and try selling it. And I did! Micro acquire was a cool site and I learned a lot from the whole experience, including how to negotiate a contract, terms and conditions, and lots more!

I absolutely love your voice. It is so monotonous and calm, I am on the verge of sleeping listening to it. The idea of this project is glorious. :)))))))))))))
Great video! In my opinion, you could have got $80-100k for that if you had marketed it correctly. Revenues aren't everything, unfortunately the buyer got a great deal on this ^^
Congrats! This is inspiring, not everything has to be sold at 6-8 figures. And this proves theres also value is building and selling it off quick than try to keep growing it for years.Thank you for sharing this complete journey. I have to ask at what point did you think your product is finished or one never comes to that stage? If you don't mind sharing the costs related to the product too? Hosting, licenses, other services you used? Thank you.
You got my sub after less than 1 min watching your first video
Truly Inspiring!
Well done Adrian, very impressive.
Hey Adrian, What would you suggest for someone like me not having youtube channel. How can we get it to customers initially? I have a similar kind of product. I tried marketing on linkedin but no success there so i stopped working on product. But after watching your video i want to again get started working on that product.
Awesome work
Very clever retitle of the video
bold stuff congratulations
Awesome! i'm curious about when during the process did you do the legal stuff like the paperwork for setting up the business???
It is a very interesting idea and finish in 30 days, just amazing!
thanks for the eyeopening...
Thanks Adrian , that was perfect , but I have a question how can you handle the large amount of requests on the openai api using your openai api key it must have a hard limit or a limited quota, it will be cool if you give us a way to use it without the error of limited quota thanks alot !

Wow, can you make a full stack tutorial that will help us make a side income? I'm curious what was your cost to have this website up and running when it was yours? Is there a way to make a free fullstack website where you only having to pay for hosting and the domain name? or maybe even host it free. The problem I face is I have some experience with full stack but I don't know how to migrate the local project to a real server and then comes the price tag for hosting and data storage.
Where did you sell the business?

I did same thing sold it for 5 dollars and bought myself ice-cream. Solid profit
Awsome job, I'm totally impressed with your skill set. But i don't think one month is realistic time you spent. It sounds more like 4 to 6 months from concept to cash in hand. Id love to see a timelime just to satisfy my disbelief. But I'm still highly impressed. Could you do a video on the most flexible tools/skillsets you use and how to use them. Just making the website, idea, and marketing is pretty straight forward.. The major issue a lot of us have is connecting to the data, which is why I can see you being s full stack helps. Can you dedicate a video on what aspects of fullstack development are most crucial. Because fullstack is pretty vague and so many false directions. If you can clear that up and make a video on the key elements needed to make the project you did and actually show the skill. It just keep so many of us from wasting so much damn time in gibberish learning that doesn't apply..that's would be invaluable. Love your content please keep it up...
Brillant!!!
$1K per day is quite impressive. I would have tried to get multiple bids, though. Otherwise, you are just shortchanging yourself. What's the worst that can happen? You can only add more value via great features and the product will appeal to more and more potential businesses that want to acquire it.
By the way you explain it, it seems more than a month but great work
Hello Adrian Is there any opportunity for software engineer position in your company to apply?

At this stage we are downscaling more than anything as current economical pressures means less work :(
Might as well have called the video "how to monetize having 153K subscribers on youtube". I mean well done, but none of it happens without having a massive promotion platform to begin with. You may have built the app in 30 days but it took years to build the foundation of your business model, which is this youtube channel.
