When my buddy was playing crisis core he asked me where is Zack during 7. I told him he retired and was running an idem shop. When he beat it he called me and told me I'm an asshole. 😊😊

@@TK-421_66 It's far worse to lie to someone than to spoil an ending. Just say you can't tell him. Or ask him what his theory is, etc. Telling someone an outright fabrication like that is the actual worst option you could pick.

After the events of FF7... Cloud did returned to that place... There he solemnly placed the buster sword in remembrance of Zack and Aerith with all the flowers around the Buster Sword... With all the remakes and rebirth and crisis core... I just wished Cloud will finally forgive himself and move on with Tifa.

Having played FF7...A LOT when it came out, and the Crisis Core when it released on the PSP, knowing what was going to happen, this game, still to this day breaks me. And, I love seeing people new to Zach's story, and how they handle it. "Would you say I became a hero?" Yes you did, Zach. Yes, you did.

This game kills my heart. It doesn't just tug my heart strings, it snaps them...

poor cloud went catatonic he couldn't hold on any longer😭😭. his brain made him forgot and took zack's identity as his to cope with all the stuff he went through

I am Japanese I was sad to see Zack die. I was also impressed when Aerith wore pink clothes. Thank you for crying even though we are in different countries

Currently working on getting fit for a Zack cosplay im doing soon. Already got all the cosplay stuff ready. Im excited. Zack Fair is honestly my favorite FF7 character. I love them all but something about Zack's story just made me fall in love with the FF7 world in a way that is indescribable. Zack truly is best boi 😭💜

he was already bad with all the hojo stuff and nibelheim, but zack's death was his breaking point. his mind couldn't take it

Oh man, if you would've heard the original voice actors on this. (Especially Zack's VA) Not saying this is bad, but damn I balled in the original one. T_T

Sorry, but I HATE Genesis when all he's doing is reciting. He's awesome trying to fight Sephiroth though. Sephiroth's the ultimate badass btw. Jessie and Tifa are the cutest FFVII Remake Characters ;)

Won't lie, his transformation in this battle was awesome AF too. Zack breaks my heart, even trying to save Genesis from himself. Reminds me too much of myself 😢 trying to see the best in everybody, even those who don't deserve it.

I'm new here. Great video! I am assuming you have never played OG FF7? We learn about Zack's fate there, they never go into this much detail, so yeah sorry. He's dead, canonically. Of course that seems to be not the case with Rebirth...

I played FF7 way back when I was like a 7 year old so I only remember like CORE MOMENTS and apparently Zack's demise wasn't one that stuck in my 7 year old brain 😂

Yep I had exactly the same reaction, i was torn up for most of the day when Zack died 😢 I love Zack so much I ended up buying a high end figure of him i spent 100s on, this way he lives on in action figure form forever on my shelf ❤

Man I love how women go through the yeah buts when they desperately try to find something to go along with what they're feeling. Zack was ridden full of holes "Yeah but hes Zack" Zack gives Cloud his Buster sword "Yeah but take him to his girl." 😂

See, I agree with all of you, this is powerful, sad, yet beautiful. So why then arent more people mad about them randomly resurrecting Zack for the remake? It made me so freaking mad when I heard about it, I wont play the remake for that simple reason alone, Zack was a great character, and him being alive in Final fantasy 7 remake makes no sense and invalidates this game, I honestly dont get why more people arent salty about this.

yep... i remember this wel the first time this hits like a truck ( even if i knew he was supossed to die because i played ff7) i cant imagine the feeling when you dont know this info and you fully get attached to Zack just to lose him in the end it sucks!

I wish Square Enix could have an update let Zack has chance to live after ff7 rebirth…I killed thousands of Sinra warriors in the last fight, it’s impossible to let Zack die only if I give up…😢 And the song Price of Freedom caused me sob…😢

Another play by play. Genesis... dude, no... A giant transformer. lol. Shiny golden Angel girl looked cool... but that was very confusing. Aeirth... what does final letter mean?? "No no no... I'm the main character. You wouldn't dare!" WTF! They just shot Zack... I'm not even playing the game, and I'm crying... Why is SquareEnix like this!! The game ends on Zack being killed!?!? Are you kidding?? Let's just pretend it didn't happen. I refuse. I mean does Aerith ever learn that Zack has died? And and and... who is Cessnei? She had said "He doesn't know who I am" but we didn't get to learn. Ugh... this game..
