Still amazes me that with how shattered Cloud is and the way Zack unintentionally broke Cloud completely in that moment, it was TIFA of all people who finds him a month later. He got incredibly lucky, it could have gone so much worse for him.

Even though he didn't accomplish the mission of meeting his future wife he tried his best even though aerith doesn't know this, it makes it even sadder😢

Seeing you play the FF7 series has been amazing. I'm so happy to have seen you play through this!

If I want a good crying sesh I just rewatch the ending

That moment when Why plays at the end hit me in the gut so hard back in the day.

Gotta play every FF7 game out and the movies. The struggle in PS1 switching multiple disc actually bring so much joy. 😅

1. Idk if you played the original Crisis Core, but how it ended here is how it originally ended. which is why many OG fans are curious to see how Zack will come back in the Remake Trilogy. 2. The cutscene after the end credits was actually made after the original Crisis Core. The devs were thinking of remastering FF7 back then to look like what we now know. But instead during development they began to remake the story itself. Which implies there are currently two timelines. One where Zack is alive and one where Zack is not. How it will all come together remains to be seen. And yes, I am Sephiroth.

Playing the original game first would have been my suggestion but it will be a trip to see you jump into final fantasy Vii in reverse.

Seeing you play this on Twitch was incredible but seeing all the highlights is amazing. So glad you went on this journey

I know this was devastating for you but ya gotta remember that's been changed at the end of FF7 Remake and now we'll be seeing him again soon enough in FF7 Rebirth early next year. Also I say Zack has always been the REAL true hero of FF7!

No. Cloud is. FF VII was created in 1997 and i the orginal game, CLOUD is the one who defeats Sepiroith. Both times. Zack failed during the Nibelheim incident, he lost that fight. Cloud was the one that beat Sephiroith. He did it again at the end of the og game. Zaacks purpose was to pass on the buster sword. Thats it. Atleast lord only knows wtf is going to happen in Rebirth and the Game after. Regardless tho, Cloud is THE protagonist, and the main hero of FFVIIs main story... Nothings will change that fact.

@@cloudspigtails8076 Yes I know! However Cloud has never exactly been a true hero in heart & soul like Zack was. I mean at first ever since what Hojo did to Cloud he was just acting so rude and closed off acting like someone he was not and he wasn't exactly living up to that buster sword that represents dreams & honor but Cloud was just lost and hardly cared about anything but money at first. It's only when he's restored to his true self he finally starts acting like a true hero who actually wants to save the planet.

It seems that when the party kills the destiny ghosts at the end of remake it somehow also changes Zack's fate. It remains to be seen why they decided to change it and what effect it will have on the story going forward but we will find out soon, once rebirth releases beginning of next year
