Dustin Rhodes lost the title and immediately left the WWF... Sounds like he was the victim of the Infamous Screwjob instead! Have been really interested in getting this game, so I am loving the chance to see what its like in action. Keep 'em coming!

I definitely enjoyed watching this video Luke and would definitely have interest in watching you book some stuff or do more sims in the future. You mentioned that you wanted to see who Flair was managing after his retirement and you are able to check this by going onto the companies' roster page. From there you can also check whatever stables people are a part of as well as who the current title holders are. I feel looking at the title lineages was maybe the one thing that this video was missing especially with it being an alternative history due to the sim-like nature and it would have been interesting to see if any surprise names had become champion like Dustin Rhodes potentially at the end of 1999. Mod wise I would like to see you book your own company in either Ruthless Aggression or 2011/2014 as you are able to change history such as preventing the rise of Cena in WWE or stopping NXT from becoming a big commodity. Either way, I'm excited to see what you choose to do next with TEW.

I think the main thing you were missing with this was the champions in both companies. I would have liked to see that. Besides that cool experiment and fascinating game.

I'm on board. This is absolutely fun to watch. My regrets is that you didn't see the bottom right corner for the headlines for each superstar, seeing why they got released, etc etc. I'm absolutely elated when I saw Owen Hart in NJPW. Keep up with this content!!!!

Love TEW! It would be absolutely amazing to see you do a save, whether it be in a real world mod or the created mod with the game. For introducing people to the game, real world would probably be best, but cornellverse games are few and far between, and I have found that my favourite saves are in that mod.

Yay can’t wait to see the how to guide on how to to get the tew mods download as well as the game it’s self also I recommend starting off a month before Survivor series 1997 to see if what happened in that doesn’t even happen.

Commenting after the watching the sim of the 1st year. Surprised to see Sid hold the title until July but not as surprising as Bulldog finishing the year as champ. Edit: Also how about those team names Blackout (Sid & Mankind) The Clan (Michaels & Goldust)

This was dope! This reminds me of OOTP baseball and this basketball simulator I used to play. Keep em coming!

I wish you would have looked more in depth at title history and match history, especially when we see tag teams the game has given names to and we have no idea who was in those teams. Also would have been great to see who won titles, and more of what some of the big names were doing i.e. Bret, Goldberg, Sting, Hogan, Warrior, Rock etc.

The was Luger not Sid in the Starrcade 97 match

I think they should make a dlc of "ecw veterans" which includes rhyno, bubba and d-von dudley dreamer and big daddy v and sandman

Interesting concept would love to see more of what the game could offer like what you can do instead of being unemployed but great watch 👍🏻

This is a great game, would definitely watch an old school real World Series around the Monday Night Wars, safest to go with one of the big 2 if you do, game is pretty tricky when on a budget

Very interested in seeing you manage a company and see where it goes.

You should do an NWA-TNA either booking save or just simulating through the years like this video

This is great fun Theres a mod by Brad drake set in 1987 that i'm currently playing that is so deep that it has regional Jobbers

I definitely agree with the other comments that you should be a booker or an owner. That would make this more interesting as we get to see your successes and defeats. Not saying I didn't like this type of video because I definitely enjoyed it. It's definitely refreshing compared to myGM mode that is a joke in all honesty. One idea you could do is find a database in the late 80s/early 90s, create your own company, and try to make them rise up the ranks and compete with all the big companies. That would build a lot of suspense and we can see you having fun building your own storylines.

Could you please do a tutorial on how to install a mod in TEW2020? Every other tutorial method I try says there's nothing in the database.

Just as a note, the battles you're looking at are only for December since they're each month, so WCW isn't winning for the WHOLE YEAR, they're winning Starrcade vs what WWF does in December, essentially so that makes perfect sense.

I think this is a really great idea, but a possible idea for future installments: Start at the early days of someone's career and focus primarily on them, maybe monthly instead of yearly, to give more detail on the one person? Also disappointed you somehow missed Nitro being cancelled while WCW was the top promotion.

I do like that to be fair

You kept saying they bought X wrestler twice...but they're different news stories. "X hired by" means he's agreed to the contract and "X joins" means he's now officially joined the other company. That usually happens when they have a month or so left to run on their original contract. If it just says "X hired by" and nothing else it means they were free to join the roster immediately

Would love to see one of these with the indy feds from the 2000’s and see how feds like CZW and IWA-MS do

Video idea. Take over NWA and manage it to the top all the way to the TNA years if that is possible in this game. Maybe just book the ppvs or something so that way it’s not like a huge 20plus hour video

If you do another experiment like this can you show the title histories for the big promotions

This game is so nerdy and I'm here for it. I think I played an older version in the early 2000s where I booked the backyard wrestling fed I had with my friends.

@@OmegaLukePlays If you choose real world for your play through, the mods by Questlove are the best IMO. Most accurate and are the most realistic stats. If you have any questions let me know, I’ve been playing since 2016!

was very interesting to see that both WCW Nitro and WWF RAW ended their runs in this timeframe. I saw the headline/news in the lists, it seems as if WWF also lost a broadcast deal (with USA?) was hoping you would click on the links to see some details but alas.

I think you should continue on this universe see where it ends up.

For the next one would like to see you either book your own wrestling promotion from the ground up or maybe rebook NXT back into the black and gold brand. Either would be an interesting watch

It's interesting also to see the title history for a year of WWF and WCW championships

You can customise a fair amount really! It’s very good

Came back to finish this after watching a twitch live stream. Thought for a minute you were going to miss Regal as champ as well. Love this so much detail. Is there a way to check out tag teams? on the mania cards etc it would mention names of teams I'd never heard of so wondered if it just created new teams (like with michaels and goldust) The Brett & Owen match just before Owen joined NJPW wasn't a tag match as Michaels was the only one listed as a winner. Sorry this comment is becoming long. Maybe a 5 year simulation similar to your FM ones could be good under different scenarios (the start of TNA, if there's a database the start of AEW to see who switches to where.) But also some that you control kind of MyGM mode, do rivalries WCW vs WWE, AAA vs CMLL, NJPW vs AJPW and you control one of them.

Anyone give any advice on how I would get this game? What laptop/PC etc

I would love to see the TNA vs WWE Monday night wars from March of 2010. Maybe history would be kinder to Dixie and Hulk lol

TEW always interested me because I view it the same was as I do FM against FIFA. Fifa has the graphic and the physical game play but FM is just so much better of a game and much more in depth. I’d happily watch this as a series

while i totally respect the switch, and i might be alone on this, but i do prefer your MyGM mode videos over this. MyGM can definitely be frustrating and the game needs improvement, but i think that’s part of the entertainment with those videos. i really enjoy your style of MyGM videos and it’s quite entertaining watching someone be frustrated at a somewhat broken game. the brokenness adds to the difficulty of the mode too, because i think it can be pretty easy at times even on hard mode lol

I might be alone on this but I would like to see more of this. Personally I’d like to see you take a little more control and see if you can take over as the top company. Some would argue at certain spots WCW was the top company. Hell at one point in time I would say the product of TNA was better then the WWE
