The difference between the fans at this Euros and The World Cup is that this in Germany and as it just for European Countries then all fans are not far away but The World Cup might,for example,also,be held in Europe and teams and fans have to travel from Africa, Asia, South and Central and North America besides Europe even Australia!

@@fvefve12 I don't think Totaal voetbal was inspired by Brasilian football. I believe Happel laid the foundation for that with Feyenoord in 69 and Michels and Cruijff perfected it. I sort of doubt Brasil was the inspiration. But on the other hand Brasil has always been regarded as one of the greatest football nations so in that regard you might have a point.

germany is closer they can drive it by car, and they been european champion in 1988, so the european championship is more a dutch thing!

Yes, there is way more excitement in this EURO than in the last World Cup. And there are several reasons for it. 1. Germany is pretty much in the center of Europe, so fans from every country have a relatively short way to travel there. 2. A lot of fans boycotted the WC in Qatar, because of the corruption within FIFA. 3. In Qatar, drinking alcohol in public is forbidden, which is a huge intervention in football culture. Football fans are always drunk. 4. After skipping the Corruption-WC in 2022 and the Covid-EURO in 2021 fans finally want to cheer for their country again. Even though Russia 2018 wasn't that great either. Btw. I can assure you, the WC 2034 in Saudi Arabia will be as shit as in Qatar.

Don't forget to mention how many foreigners who were working on the stadions, etc. died in Qatar. A culture with no respect whatsoever for human beings who don't belong to the male clan. And indeed SA isn't much different.

The last world cup was in Qatar. The Orange army did not travel there in great numbers.

To answer your question In the Netherlands now there is a lot of ORANGE in the streets, there are some streets are even totally orange with flags paint and spray art on the walls.n the Hague where i live even some houses are painted totally Orange.

Goodmorning from Amsterdam, this has nothing to do with Joost Klein. We always party for football, F1, cycling and all other sports heroes. We live in a friendly, happy and free country and try to share our goals in happiness. This type of party is there for years now. This is the legion but in the whole country people partied. Thank you for your interest in us, you are very friendly.

We (Holland) were in group D, we finished 3rd. No.1 Austria got illiminated by Turkey, we play Turkey now.

In the Netherlands it was just as big a party! Every city and every village is orange, people are watching the game together! And the song that you hear with the left and right is a song from the ‘Snollebollekes’. It is not a football song but people jump from left to right anywhere!

That people here are more excited for the Euro cup than the World cup is very possible. For one it's closer so more people can go. Second is that the Euro cup is widely considered to be the more competitive than the World Cup, since there is no Asian or African countries that will join the cup, thus better matches, harder match ups.

these ae the fans on their way to the stadium where the Neherlands vs France is played.. some of them will watch it on big screens in the city sqaures and pubs... but alot have tickets to the game. thats what they do in europe .. have a big march through the city streets to the stadium.. thats pretty much whats happening.. just on club level the marches are a whole lot more insane.. way more intense and sometimes turns ugly in certain cases.. sometimes the home team ultras fanclub will not allow it and try to stop them on the way.. like in my country the netherlands, my club feyenoord rotterdam ultras and ther fans cant just march to the stadium if we played our rival Ajax amsterdam in a away game. that wil turn violent quick,..

As a Scot cruyff was best Dutch ⚽ from 1970s i recall and the Dutch for me are best side not to win the World cup ever . Just lost out in the 1978 World cup in Argentina i so recall . Us Scots won v the Dutch in that very World cup with a 3/2 win in the groups games , but again as usual failed to make it through losing to a lesser team Peru and a draw v Iran think im right in saying without googling . So recall them yrs just lol but ye Scotland would play better v better teams and lose v lesser teams or draw is not consistent al all them days especially as had better players by far them yrs . Dutch were a top side them yrs , but in recent yrs not so , but doing a bit better here in Euros though i cant see the dutch win this tournament , as they are not near as good a side as the Dutch side from them 1970s fir sure. 👍⚽ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I feel winners shall be between Spain and hosts Germany .

WC in Qatar was shit. If you want to see this kind of atmosphere at a WC, go to Europe or (probably) to South America. Then there is going to be so much more fans who really like the game.
