@@ExperiencingLondon Sure! Always a pleasure to share the settings😃 I don’t shoot in low light mode at night. It’s 30 and 60fps, pro mode, d-log M. My white balance is in auto mode, Image Adjustment is noise reduction -1 and sharpness -2 and focus mode is Continuous (but i later found out that single works best). Gimbal Mode is Follow. Hope you find the above useful. I don't use any special equipments. All footages were shot handheld🙂

Extremely good framing & color grading bro! I would just think that a better choice of music would make the video even better, regardless, amazing work!

Thanks man! Appreciate your comments. In fact, most of the places in the video are randomly shot. But i would encourage u to explore as much as you can. Here are the list of places which should be the main focus of your video: 1)The Kabukicho Tower (go inside Starbucks..the interior is quite nice and unlike any other starbucks in Tokyo...it's unfortunate i didn't) 2)Godzilla Road (go up to the hotel and shoot the godzilla close up if you can) 3)Kabukicho street By the way, starbucks in the video is right beside Shinjuku Station Express Terminal Bus. Best of luck!😃

Hey, that's D-log m but it plays as HDR on my screen even though youtube doesn't mark it as HDR. How did you do that, what's the color profile?

Hey @walkwithyan! I don’t shoot in low light mode. It’s 30 and 60fps, pro mode, d-log M. My white balance is in auto mode, noise reduction -1 and sharpness -2 if I’m not mistaken😅 Yes u should get pocket 3! I’ve stopped shooting with my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Appreciate it very much🙏🙏 I shot it in Pro Mode, D-Log M, White balance in Auto mode, Sharpness (-2) and Noise Reduction (-1), 30fps and 60fps...I've applied a slight sharpen tool in Final Cut Pro X and used Cinematic LUT pack 1 and 2 (link below). Hey Arjay! Thank you for dropping a comment. Always appreciate it!👍 Yes...just follow the iso and exposure setting. But for the exposure setting, if you encounter flickering lights, you have to switch to Manual mode and select 1/50 or 1/60 (shutter speed) and see which ones will remove the flickering. Or go to Anti-flicker settings and select the 50hz or 60hz or Auto. I only found out after my tokyo trip unfortunately😅

With this footage you could do wonder using Davinci and pushing the lights try to use a black mist filter on the lens at night try a 1/4

Stock lens?

There's a lot of flicker in several of your shots. You need to turn on the "anti-flicker" setting. Also, everything has a point and shoot, extra sharpened, digital video look to it. Did you shoot your material in the D-Log Mode ? If you want the so called, "Cinema Look" to it, then you have to use the D-Log shooting mode to get that look. Also, there are settings to turn down sharpening and built in noise reduction. Go as low as you can in both settings - into the negative numbers and maximize those numbers. You will discover your footage has less of that oversharpened digital video look to it.

@@nicholaskhoo Yes. I completely understand. There are a lot of menu settings in the OSMO Pocket 3, and it does take quite a while to familiarize yourself with those settings. I also own the original OSMO Pocket camera. I think there is a slightly better lens on the original camera than the one on the OSMO Pocket 3. I have noticed there is more distortion in the image toward the outer edges of the frame than on earlier iterations of this camera. I would not say these are deal breakers, since this minimal distortion can be compensated for in careful framing of your shots, and is actually correctable in post production. Davinci Resolve has a filter you can apply to shots which show optical distortion.

As far as i can remember, the one shot which i zoomed in was the godzilla's head🙂 A slight zoom in should be okay but i would encourage you to shoot the clip without zooming in, and zoom in via post editing software.

Hi @jaygopro8531, I used one of the LUT from this pack: fcpxfullaccess.com/collections/full-access-range/products/the-lut-bundle (no affiliation with them) it's basically just tweaking the midtones and shadows. That's all...very simple and straighforward😀!

@@Straflight Try adjusting the shutter speed (under exposure in Pro mode by swiping to the left) until you the flicker disappears. That's what i did when shooting in Tokyo. The anti-flicker doesn't work all the time in my opinion due to different Hertz. Hope it works...all the best🙏
