Nice video! Do you using any ND filter?
@@haha18 thank you for leaving a positive comment😃👍🏻 No ND filters were being used.
Bruh, this is so freaking good. Earned a sub. I just wished the osmo pocket 3 had the option to turn off stabilisation when I want some shake movement to capture the moment raw
@@muhammadraahil5172 Thanks man! Appreciate your positive comments immensely 😃👍🏻🙏🏻 Oh yea…having that shake is like akin to watching a movie! Wish pocket 3 have that too ☺️
I want to get this camera so bad for my upcoming Japan trip in November but I have zero editing skills or knowledge right now 🥲
There are plenty of tutorials here on YT. I had to learn from scratch last year and work my way up. You can do it too! Gambateh!💪😃
@@nicholaskhoo Thank you!!
you should fix your shutter speed, most artificial lights in Japan have a 50hz frequency
This is awesome!!! Did you apply any LUTs in the post processing?
@@toronto20 thank you so much for the positive comments!🙏🏻🙏🏻 Yes I used a LUT in post processing via FCPX😃
This is SO GOOD.... Are you able to stack the mist filter with an ND filter?
Thank you for the positive comment bro🙏! I just found out a week after i purchased the K&F Black Mist Filter, all K&F filters are not stackable. But what's good with the K&F black mist filter is that its so thin that it won't get stuck or jam up when you turn it off.
Hi Nicholas and congrats for theses wonderful footages. Do you have any clue if you can stack the DJI ND and this Mist together ? Regards !
Hey Matp2470, Thank you for taking the time to drop a comment! 🙏 So I would say it might not work for DJI ND and K&F since K&F filters aren't stackable😅
This is so goooood...I wonder what your sharpness settings are? Looks AMAZING. Also, do you sell your LUTS?
@jaydabliu - Thank you so much for dropping a positive comment!🙏🙂 My sharpness setting is -2. I purchased my LUT from this website: fcpxfullaccess.com/collections/full-access-range/products/the-lut-bundle Hope the above helps👍
that's cool; just bought the camera myself ... Tokyo is a great city! was stationed in Japan.
@@FLG8r thank you for dropping a comment🙏🏻😃You will love pocket 3! It’s a BEAST 😃😃 Get a black mist filter if you can preferably 1/8. It does make a difference.
Did you use anamorphic lens?
@@meowzsnowmie2265 Thank you for commenting 🙏🏻😃 I only use Black Mist Filter 1/8😉 The brand is K&F And it’s quite affordable
the feels omg. proud to have another talented creator in the country!
Getting a positive comment from someone who has tons of subscribers...I am ecstatic!🙏🙏😃😃 Thanks Rache!❤❤
Absolutely incredible!
Thank you so much for the positive comment!🙏🙏🙂🙂
amazing
@@jaredventura4219 Thanks Jared as always 🙏🏻🙏🏻😃😃
Really really nice video mate 😍
@@ShankerJoyrama Thanks again mate! Many thanks for leaving a comment🙏🏻🙏🏻
Oooh, I think I want to get a black mist filter for my Osmo Pocket 3! This looks amazing. 🙌
@@BrandonBautista get the 1/8…i think 1/4 is a bit too strong for my liking😅 Thanks again for leaving a comment, mate😉
wow! wow! wow! This video was AMAZING! Your filming and editing skills are exceptional👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Love it❤
What's the fps do you shot with?
Hey there!😃 First of all, thank you for dropping a comment. Appreciate it! All my videos captured with Pocket 3 are recorded in 30 and 60 fps🙂
@@nicholaskhoo Hi there! I see. So all of the slow mo footage here in 60fps? I wonder what 120fps can do 🤔
@@mdfiiq Yes, 60fps. Lately i tried shooting in 120fps as well. It was brilliant. The only problem is the flickering of artificial lights.
@@nicholaskhoo 120fps should be buttery smooth. Might as well use it during daytime or scenery shots. Nevertheless, continue to create more with Pocket 3. I'm really inspired and planning to get one soon. Much love from your fan here in Malaysia ✌️
@@mdfiiq Absolutely bro! 😃 Thanks man! Get one...u won't go wrong man! All the best👍👍
Can you share what format you shot this with? Was this also color graded in post??
Hey there! Appreciate for leaving a comment😃 My settings are in Pro Mode, 4k 60fps, Exposure in Auto Mode (-0.3EV, 50-3200 for ISO), White Balance in Auto mode, D-Log M, Image Adjustment (sharpness @ -1 and Noise reduction @ -2). I noticed that if you use Autofocus in Continuous mode it will keep focusing on different subjects in front of you or humans passing by. Single mode works best for me. Yes it was color graded with FPCX.
WOW...This is beautiful... Sheeeeeesh
@@jaydabliu thanks man! Appreciate your comments🙏🏻🙏🏻 it could be better in my opinion. I only bought the pocket 3 a few days prior to my Tokyo trip. So I wasn’t familiar with the settings and how to fully maximise its potential. 😄
Love visiting Norway and getting Norwegian waffles. Excited I can get one in Tokyo!
Hello Anna! Thank you for leaving a comment🙏😃 Do give it a try when you are in Asakusa. There's another branch in Shibuya too. Cheers!
So beautiful and satisfying sounds. I really enjoyed. Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks man! Appreciate your comments very much🙏🏻😃
Did you video the night shots on normal mode or in the low light mode?
Hey MumenRider78, Thank you for leaving a comment🙏🏻😄 All my videos in Tokyo were shot in Pro Mode (DLog-M). No low light mode setting😉
Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it.
Thank you so much for leaving a comment. Glad you enjoyed it😃😃👍👍
did you zoom or not at all?
As far as i can remember, the one shot which i zoomed in was the godzilla's head🙂 A slight zoom in should be okay but i would encourage you to shoot the clip without zooming in, and zoom in via post editing software.
Sheesh this is just insane 🙏🏽.
Thanks a bunch for the wonderful comment😃😃🙏🙏
There is something super clean about the image.
Thank you so much for the wonderful comments🙏🏻🙏🏻😃😃
Did u use a balck mist fliter for extra bloom effect?
Hey Sang986, i don't use any black mist filter fyi 😀 Thank you for dropping a comment 🙂
was searching for places to visit in Japan when I came across your channel. Love your cinematic edits. New Subscriber.
Thank you so much for the positive comments. I’m glad that it help you in some ways 😃👍🏻🙏🏻 Enjoy your trip!
Wow great ❤ If possible can you let me know how you color grade this?
Hello! Thank you for the wonderful comment😃😃😃! I used a cinematic LUT pack: fcpxfullaccess.com/collections/full-access-range/products/the-lut-bundle (no affiliation with the company btw) And just tweak the shadows, midtones and highlights. That's all...simple and straightforward 😉 Hope it helps.
Outstanding video… thank you for sharing…
Most welcome Steve!🙏🏻🙏🏻 appreciate your positive and wonderful comment too😃👍🏻
Amazing video man. Respect!
Thanks man! Appreciate your comment 🙏🏻🙏🏻😃😃
Stock lens?
Simple Incredible. May I ask what editing software do you use, and any recommendation on how to learn to shoot these cinematic scenes?
Hey Koreandude...thank you for the awesome comment! Appreciate it 🙏🙏 I use Final Cut Pro X...to get good cinematic shots, i had to watch tons of cinematic videos on YT and those that tickled my fancy, i would save them in my playlist. And i would make notes of what kind of shots do i wanna execute, the movement, how to frame certain shots etc. Once you get the hang of it, it just flows man... Hope the above helps. I am just an average videography to be honest.
hi! do you use any glass filter? like vnd or anything else? thanks
Hey Dom! Sorry for not being able to reply in time. I don't use any filters or whatsoever :-) It's straight out from the original pocket 3 lens.
You’re angles are so beautiful!
Thanks again for the great comments, Ranjini!😃👍 Hope you like the video.
Amazing work, as always. 🙌
Thanks man! Always appreciate your comments😃😃🙏🙏
Amazing! Do you use ND filter?
Thanks Ucuzx! Appreciate for leaving a comment😃😃 Did not use an ND filter 😉 Just adjust the shadows, midtones and highlights and apply a cinematic LUT👍
My friend, your born artistic, love it :)
Thank you so much 😀 Sorry didn't noticed your comment.
Lovely :)
Peaceful and cinematic, the perfect convincing i needed to get this :) May i ask, your tall static shots, tripod or second shooter?
thank you so much Ranjini!😃😍🙏! some of the shots are on tripods...most of it are handheld. Not easy as it tends to get a bit shakey at times hahaha🤣 Don't have a 2nd shooter unfortunately.
I suddenly go pass by, I love your color grading
Thank you so much for the great and positive comments Khangdinh0127😍🙏😃
Great Video Nicholas! May I know the settings you used? Also do you apply any LUTs?
Hey Toronto20! Here's my setting for my pocket 3😃 - Not shot in low light mode at night - 30 and 60fps - Pro mode & D-log M - White balance is in auto mode - Image Adjustment : Noise reduction -1 and sharpness -2 - Focus Mode: Continuous mode. - Exposure: -0.3EV and ISO is 50-3200 Yes, i did apply a cinematic LUT😉
@@nicholaskhoo Thank you for sharing the settings. Keep up the great work 🙂
it's such a nice video, I feel peaceful and relaxed while watching your video. Did you use d-log mode or basic color when filming these shots ?
Hey Jason! thank you so much for the positive comments😃🙏! All of my YT videos shot since my tokyo trip last year in Nov was shot in D-Log M🙂 including my Melaka trip.
Very nice video ❤❤❤
May I ask the video from pocket 3 itself is so nice ?
The raw footage was good but you have to use a software to edit the video clips. In this case, i use Final Cut Pro X, a cinematic LUT pack and a couple of nice musics to go with the video👍
@@nicholaskhoothanks for sharing ❤

Lovely video. How do you get music for your videos do you pay a subscription or get in youtube studio? I don't know how to do that. Thank you
Thanks @Pete_Inka😃! I just convert the music (from youtube to mp3) and use them on my YT videos while editing. No need to pay for subscription👍
