HI I'M BACK
I returned home from my mission in June, and can I just say that it was the best thing I've ever done with my life? Like seriously I had the privilege to do something as meaningful, fulfilling, and joy-bringing as helping people, every day, to learn more about God and Christ and to see the huge difference it made in THEIR joy and their lives and families. It's really not something I've talked about on this channel at all, but I love my Heavenly Father so much, and I truly believe that my love for music and singing are gifts from Him. I think the reason why I made this channel in the first place, or at least the one that's developed throughout the years, is this desire to connect with people through music, to somehow convey thoughts of "you're not alone," "you're loved," "you're not the only one who has thoughts and feelings like that," and "there is hope, peace, and a better joy out there." And sometimes that comes in the form of silly or cute songs just to hopefully make people smile or help them to realize life doesn't have to feel so heavy, and other times it's through songs with stories of courage, fighting for what's important, and being a source of strength for another. Or it might be through songs of encouragement or songs that just make you feel things so deeply, something intangible that you can't explain but know is there.
In this song, it says that if there are feelings and hopes that you can't put into words, maybe it can reach someone through music. So I'll sing out my feelings both to you and for you and hope that by so doing, I'll have made a positive difference in your life in some way.
