That song was Aretha's signature song when I was in Vietnam in 1968. No matter what type of day we had, the brothas took notice when this song came on the radio. it just changed our mood,
If Celine Dion can enjoy a run in Vegas, Morgan should be right there as well. Goddamn, what a voice.
Of course Morgan once again displays one of the purest voices of all-time, but this kid on the keys has some major talent as well. He has an amazing touch and phrasing for someone so young.
The restraint and precision of this intimate arrangement is absolutely haunting. Morgan always surrounds herself with the best talent - such angelic harmonies. It only takes one quiet piano to fill the room. Another fine performance from one of the great voices of our time.
I forgot Aretha sang this; the version I am used to was by Dionne Warwick. However, we're all in agreement on one thing: Morgan absolutely nailed it!

Aretha's version is great, but I will always think of this as Dionne Warwick's song.

Oh Morgan & team…this rendition is just so fab! 😍
Even the soultrack are heading for you..😍
This couldn't be more perfect.
So, so very good! Thank you for sharing the incredible blending of your voices Morgan, Melodie and Chenee, with the amazing support of Julius Rodriguez on the keys. Unbelievably beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😍
This is great. Morgan and the ladies got it goin'. I just saw Julius with the Time To Swing Jazz Quartet at Keystone Korner in Baltimore. He was "tearin' it up"
Very beautiful accompaniment. Rare musicality and musicianship.
What a blessing! You all sound so beautiful together! Thanks MJ! 😘
Gorgeous cover Morgan! Beautiful angelic voice! I love listening to you! Your voice is perfectly smooth! 😌💖💖💖💖
Brings a tear to a glass eye.
A very touchy version of my favourite song. Thank you Morgan.
OMG! This is an absolutely transcendent level of perfection!♥️
SHE IS AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL SINGER JUST DISCOVERED THIS ANGELIC VOICE
Fabulous as always. That young man on the piano has a lot more music in those fingers.
That pianist is so chill, and Morgan's vocals are heavenly as always
Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous! Love this song and it was performed SPECTACULARLY! FanTAStiC!
Morgan, you could do an Aretha show with this cast. It would be all good.
I really enjoyed listening to your Incredibly beautiful cover of this magical song and music. Thank you so much 👍👏🌹🌹🌹💕.
Oh my,,,,,!
One of my favorite songs, love the Aretha version but Morgan James sure does this song justice. Met Burt Bacharach when his daughter was riding for SC ... what a timeless song. Thank you Morgan.
Aretha is the most love any song she makes go get it Girls great choirs.
This has been one of my favorite songs from the late 60s. Ms. James really nailed it good. Thank you for sharing.
How nice to wake up to some MJ and OJ!
Absolutely beautiful!
Great take on a classic. This song definitely needed an amazing rendition...
They all killed it, but Morgan absolutely was iconic...
RESPECT MISS JAMES
Wonderful Morgan :)
Once again an other pearl from Morgan, thank you greets from Finland.
Yasss! ❤❤❤
This studio will always have great memories for me
So beautiful!
One more thing I truly like in her performances is the fact that it is very obvious she could do those ’without the net stunts’ with her voice all through the song. Instead her singing honours the song and lyrics and she has a very sophisticated way of control. Like the difference with good cooks and food artists. I can enjoy the song and not only excellent singing. ❤
Sweet.
Beautiful
Breathtaking, as ever 😘
Morgan, sua linda
Quel charme et quelle voix magnifique!
Как всегда прекрасна!
Freson right from start! I find myself near breathless. ❤️💕
Amazing
Absolutely beautiful.

Beautifully done. The pocket dress reminded me of Adanna Duru on PMJ. Got to listen to that now too.
I thought Dion Warwick sang this song. Hmm These ladies do an Awesome job.

@@comparedtowhat2719 and after seeing claims of “cultural appropriation” (stupid) claims of white singers on this song elsewhere made by people who have no clue this was written by two really white guys, I’m getting ahead of the game.
Am I tripping, or is the pianist just mimicking the notes, on the video? 🤔
Does ir get any better than this?
A few diets would be in order there, lol.
