Me too! I was walking past Chipotle and it was playing on the patio, I stopped on a dime..I asked Google to show me all the artist who sang this song ...never heard of her but I am so glad I found it!!! Made me smile from ear to ear when I heard it ( I'm sure it was on a podcast) she has that Amy winehouse rawness🙋

I don't typically comment on videos, but I got to say, she probably has the most beautiful voice out of anyone I have heard in a very long time. It's got to be really tough in the music business these days to still be original, but she is truly something special. Listening to her sing is like looking up and seeing the sky for the first time.

PJ Many artists' greatest hits are covers and some people don't even know they are not theirs. For example, I Will Always Love You is not originally by Whitney Houston. The list goes on. So, no need to judge Lianne for an amazing rendition. She didn't even copy the original. She made it her on. That's not easy to do.

I heard Warwick sing it live once and I loved it but this is my favourite rendition of all time. Anyone is entitled to sing it. This is my favourite rendition. 😇

There's just something magic about her singing. The guitar accompaniment fits her very well because she can take her own time for her phrasing and can really let her voice ring out. There's just something about her control and way phrasing that catches me everytime. And even after learning how she's phrasing (I'm a man) there's just something special in the texture of her voice that can't be archieved with technique. She's one of the few singers that are truly individual.

I am 67 years old and this young lady brought tears to my eye… she is a gift

Her Vibrato is simply beautiful 🤩

Absolutely magical. She nails it perfectly, the brief stops after each chorus, the control and range of her voice and guitar accompaniment , the way she builds to a crescendo, her aura, passion and delicacy. The crowds awe , lack of phones, general silence , but then unanimous clapping in time to the last chorus, Incredible. Aretha Franklin's original is a classic, but totally different vibe. This is a rare case where a cover just adds extra brilliance to an already amazing original piece of music.

And 7 years later I’m still crying and singing along. I love this rendition she did so much, definitely at the same caliber of Aretha’s. Any song coming out of this woman’s mouth will be ethereal.

I happened to just click on an NPR Tiny Desk Concert a number of years ago and that was my first introduction to her! Make sure you find the very first one she recorded. It is still one my favorites!

Just caught this woman opening up for Leon Bridges up in Burlington VT. She played this tune. Nailed it.

I was there too-but didn't make it into her selfie. I've been a fan since 2012 and was so stoked to see her with Leon Bridges. I think the crowd really loved and were wowed by her. A great night of music.
