I RISK EVERYTHING mowing this yard AFTER HOMEOWNER LEAVES FOR WORK!

I knocked on this random door, NO ONE ANSWERED... The Nieghbor called me over and said that the homeowner at this house that looked almost vacant works crazy hours and is going though a very hard time after his love one passed! She said this yard was a eyesore because all the other houses down the street were perfectly maintained and its only a matter of time until they call code enforcement on this property. The Nieghbor also told me the homeowner won't be home until 5 so I rolled the dice and Cut his yard before he got home. I ended up coming back to get his reaction once he got home from work and was curious if he was going to be mad I did it without permission. The makeover turned out awesome and it was a very fun project let me know how I did in the comments below and would you have done this job without the homeowners permission??
I love you guys and thank you for all the support!
If you think the front yard was bad wait till you see the back!!! ITS A NIGHT MARE. if this video gets 1 like ill ask the homeowner if I can do a full makeover on this CRAZY backyard. yes I said one like LOL!

a lot of the time, you know someone lost their spouse and everyone says they want to help out, and a month later, nobody checks back. or they don't want o pester them, so they wait to be asked. it's not always comfortable to keep asking if someone needs and assist, so great that he got one from a stranger!

This one choked me up. 42 years of marriage, 4 years of her being sick then passing; he's handling everything on his own. This is definitely going to give him some relief during his grief and maybe even some encouragment to healing into new life. It just takes one person to do something like this to see the dawning of a new day. Great job Al.

Everyone operates differently. I worked in hospice and home care for a bit and I was great at my job but all I would think about 24/7 is the families I seen and how much help they needed and that I should be helping them. I worked on call, the longest shift I had was with that job; 18 hours with many many 14 and a few 16s. Ive seen people beg me to not die and Ive seen people who couldnt be any happier, Ive seen families who lived in literal shacks in the woods and trailers with holes throughout them and dog/cat piss n shit throughout the house so bad you could skate on it in the kitchen laminate. Ive also seen multi millionaires with butlers and a team of grounds keepers. Everyones head is a little different, best not to judge.

I feel this mans pain. My wife is stroke survivor and the hospital told us to put her in a nursing home. She is at home and gets better care than any facility would give. I get up at 5 am, go to bed around midnight, and in that time I care for all her needs, cook the meals, take care of the property, yard, animals, and work as much as I can. Our neighbor that has been a friend for 30 years just passed away from cancer and I am also taking care of their yard also. Its a tough road he has traveled the past 4 years with his wife. If you live near him, reach out to him and offer a little help, even if its just a home cooked meal or a plate of fresh cookies. He needs to emotional support more than most will ever know.

He's right. wWorking 6 days a week leaves you exhausted, no energy to take care of anything but meals and clothes. And sleep. To begin the exhausting cycle again Monday morning. Think what a load off his heart to walk out and see his yard looking so nice! You did well today ❤️

I don't feel like doing my yard work is exhausting but I'm not in the middle of mourning the loss of my wife like he probably still is. I feel like doing yard work is cathartic & satisfying & basking in the end product is like the icing on top of the cake. I'd hate to be one of those people that finds doing their yard work as hard work, especially since I own & maintain 3 properties the size of his.

It's always fun to watch KZreadr's doing the free yard clean ups. I wish there was someone that did this in central Florida. With all the rain we get and the high temperatures for most of the year, my yard usually looks like some of the ones that you guys cut. I deliver for DoorDash to try and make some money while I'm between jobs. When delivering in certain areas, I constantly see yards that could use a makeover. I think that you are at least the fourth or fifth KZreadr that I have watched do these video's. Thank you for what you do... Keep up the good work.

Maybe do a search on KZread for yard people in Florida. I can't imagine the heat and humidity you get.

I’ve learned some good tips watching you work, Al. I do a lot of the string trimming here, around the yard and garden. It’s 3 acres of grassland, I hire a tractor with mower to take care of most of it. Thanks for taking care of people, very satisfying to witness.

This was another awesome transformation of this yard. Ron is so appreciative of you cutting this for him. The neighbors and community are happy as well. Thanks all for your generosity and continued help in the community. Blessings to you. P.S. That backyard is a beast!! Please wear your gloves when picking up anything when you cut the backyard😊

LOL! Yes, the backyard is a nightmare, but I've seen you tackle so many nightmares I know you can do it :-) It was so great to help that guy out. The last thing he needs right now is the city breathing down his neck. You made his life so much better at a time he really needed it. I look forward to the backyard video .

That was a good time to help someone. The death of a wife and overworking is not good. I like that you figured out backlogged items, like old branches, the plant blocking walking, a vining plant in the roof gutter, trees needing raising... and worked to fix them. That looks so much better and I hope the return of order and some peace relieved the man of some of the overwhelm he is going through. Glad you are going to be able to do the back as well. Also a memorial for his wife. She is now remembered by many.

A beautiful job for a man that is grieving for his wife. Nothing like the neighbors stepping forward to help him out. I'm glad he's giving you permission to do the backyard, that way when he has time off he can try to unwind and relax. I've been in those shoes, lost my husband who was a disabled veteran. You never get over the loss, you just learn to live with it, so my heart goes out to this wonderful man, just trying to go on with his life, and my love goes out to you Al, for helping people like him out. There's a special place for people like you !!!

My husband had a stroke five years ago at age 57. The last thing I was thinking about was our yard. We also had a seven year old daughter at home. Our darling young neighbor, who along with his wife was very new to our neighborhood, mowed and cared for our yard throughout the summer. He was, and is, a blessing!

Al.,Marsha here from Oklahoma. I watched both of the videos. The one with the back yard also. I must say, I like how you do it in sections. If I was there I would get with my rack and wheel barrow trying to help. Take care of your health and get plenty rest. Special thanks to your suppliers. I will support that brand in the future.

It’s amazing that his neighbors knew what he was going through, but it took a human angel to come from only Gold knows where to support him. God will send help no matter how far it has some people that will obey by just being a blessing. Thank you for being THAT blessing.
